Both plants are in bloom and are looking nice and healthy. Lollipopped both plants which was painful. Getting into yoga poses to get to the back of the plants sucks but I really like the SCROG so I’ll endure. Should be cutting these ladies down in about 8-9 weeks. Let the countdown begin!

Flower Week 1 Day 1, Grow Day 97

Flower Week 1 Day 1

Today is day 21 since the flip so I removed all of the fan leaves that were blocking bud sites. I didn’t do a full defoliation this time. Gave each of them 1.5 Tbsp of All purpose organic nutes, 3.5 Tbsp of flowering organic nutes, and 1 Tbsp of guano. I’ll give them that ratio again in 3 weeks and that should get them to the finish line. I watered them in with 1 Tbsp of URB per gallon. Each plant took a gallon. I really like the trichome production with these nutes compared to synthetic. I believe I discovered the culprit of the bananas on my last 2 runs. My oscillating fans speed light was shining out of the bottom of the tape I had covering it on both fans. I couldn’t see the lights because I didn’t let my eyes adjust long enough to darkness. Should be good now. Should be smelling good in the next couple weeks. These have purple genetics so I’m looking forward to that. Stay tuned

My DA1 plant hermied on me on my last run. I just kept removing the bananas I could see, and went on with the show. Not a single seed so far in my bud!

hope the light on your fan doesn’t do it again. Although light leaks like that won’t cause the plant to herm alone. What I believe the light leaks do, is makes the plant think it has more light then it needs, stresses out the plant and the plant forces it’s self to pop out those bananas. Am I right idk, am I wrong? Idk it’s just a hunch.

We’ll see what happens with this run. I also took the intake tube off of the a/c vent. Was causing too many temp/RH fluctuations and I think that may have stressed the plants too.

The buds are putting on weight and producing trichomes. The leaves are starting to show signs of turning purple. Can’t wait for that.

Plants are looking good and they smell so good. The veins in the leaves are starting to turn purple and the buds seem to have a slight purple to them. They should turn soon hopefully. I kept one of the clones from these and I flipped her last week. I’ll post a pic below these for your viewing pleasure. On my next run I want to run 4 plants at the same time. Think I’m going to go with Green Crack, Blue Dream, Gorilla Zkittlez, and Strawberry Lemonade. I have more room to use and I’ll just run them all in 3 gallon pots. Let me know what y’all think

Yeah I want to have more of a variety of strains to choose from. I just need to stop ordering seeds until I get through the ones I have lol. 4 at a time should help with that. I’m going to keep the Green Crack and Blue Dream as mothers because I only had one seed of each. Any advice on keeping mothers? Does keeping them trimmed keep the roots from out growing the pots or do I have to keep up potting? This will be my first try at keeping mothers for an extended period of time. I usually just grow them, cut a couple clones right before I flip to flower and then finish them off.

I would keep the mother in the pot she’s in for as long as you could. Once she starts showing signs of root problems, then up pot her. As long as you have the room though, shouldn’t be a problem to up pot. I’ve never kept a mother around for a long period of time. So these tips are just what I would do.

The calyxes are swelling and the leaves are changing colors each day. I don’t believe the weird plant is going to yield much, but they are really frosty. Not much else to report.

The right plant’s buds are swelling up nice and the leaves are fading nicely too. Not sure when the purple is going to happen. Guess we’ll see on that. The left one is starting to swell and the leaves are starting to swell also. I gave both of them a little bit of food to get them to the finish line

Thanks. I have about a bowl worth of weed and about half of a 3ml tank of vape juice I made left. Gonna take the rest of this time as a T break. Gonna be a long few weeks lol
