OK, things are progressing nicely and the plants are all showing the same extraordinary growth that I've been getting from them

the male clones survived and are showing good root growth. they will be pitched as soon as the NL are put into flowering. They're not gonna do me any good, but I learned a lot by growing them

AND SPEAKING OF FLOWERING!!

we're gonna be switching the light over to 12/12 hopefully by Monday. At that time the ice/papaya will be put into my veg closet and I'll put my 1000W hps bulb in the grow room. That's when the real fun begins! I've decided that the NL girls need to have names, and since I'm no good with names I've decided to let the people following my grow pick some names for me. With that said, feel free to throw some suggestions my way; your name, wife/girlfriend's name, or just a girl's name that you think sounds cool. TM420, you and your wife have to name one of them. the other four I will pick from people's suggestions.
Thanks everyone for watching my grow:thanks:

Awesome bro! I'll get together with the wifey and come up with something sweet!! How about "MINE" ? :roorrip: Then again, you know what happened after I named your last cat

the NL are putting out preflowers like mad. Even with 20 hrs of light, they're stretching and trying like hell to flower.

another shot of the ice/papaya. I swear they get bigger every damn day.

the room is definitely picking up a spicy/skunky smell. Funny thing is, the male is the smelliest one by far. It was definitely the right one to keep for pollen collecting. So far, everything has gone better than I expected and I'm starting to get really anxious to start flowering the NL. I have a feeling they're gonna have some wicked huge buds on them in a couple of months.:woohoo:

Isn't that the point? :slide: Things are looking good dude. If I didn't know better, I'd think you had more experience doing this than you do! I'll admit its been pretty freakin' cool watching these from seed to present. As much of it as I've consumed over the years, this is my first time watching it develope so closely!!!!!! So far, so good!! :cheer:

how big did you say your grow area was? are you gonna be able to get around in there to water all those fuckers?

watering is already a chore. ten 1gal pots and five 3gal pots takes a lot of water if you do them all at once. I've got about 35 square ft of growing space (not including the bathtub, which could be used in case of space shortage). Sometime in the next 3 days, I'm gonna move the 10 ice/papaya plants to the veg closet, freeing up some space. By the time I move them back into the flowering room, I'm hoping they've already shown their sex. If not, I'll flower them in the closet until they do. That way I'll never have more than probably 10 or so flowering females in the room at any time, however it will be a little crowded in there for awhile I'm sure.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are officially flowering!!
the ice & papaya have been moved to the closet and most of them are already showing preflowers! I've got 4 confirmed females (3 ice, 1 papaya) 5 suspected males (2 ice, 3 papaya) and 1 not yet showing (papaya)

update on the ice/papaya: we now have 3 female ice and 3 female papaya!!! the other 4 are still looking like males, and I'll give them a few days to change their minds before I yank them.

my 6 females

this one's kinda short. it's a girl, so I'm interested in seeing how this one progresses.
100_0355.JPG

a couple of things I've noticed about the ice&papaya plants vs the NL:

these have HUGE fan leaves compared to the NL
100_0356.JPG

and no pale new growth like I saw (and still see) on all of the NL plants. getting some epsom salts tomorrow to remedy that.
100_03582.JPG

also, if you don't have one of these, get one. My 6" vortex fan sounds like a jet engine at full speed, which could raise the suspicions of nosy people inside and outside the house. I've found that it doesn't have to move too much air to keep the room as cool as it's gonna get.

:ganjamon: Hows my baby Big Bertha doin? you best be taking good care of her! :goodjob:

Did the Epsom salt help any?

BTW, AK arrived today!
