First Grow: Auto White Widow LED Soil

Thanks Wally... I don’t have calmag. I’m using nutri plus nutrients and there is a bottle of grow 1 and grow 2 which apparently have calcium and magnesium in them. I have a tds meter and when I test the tap water it’s showing 230 ppm. Kind of a dumb question but do I just add the 230 to the 250-300 so my meter reads 500 or so ppm with the Nutes added? First time doing this:D

Yeah that should be fine, if you go over 500, just pour some out and add water again. You can literally leave the meter in and watch it till gets to your target. Water at 230 probably has plenty of calcium, so should be fine regardless.

Here are a couple pics of my ladies at day 16.... the larger plant is growing nicely but the other is very slow. They both appear to be healthy... I will start with the nutrients next watering which should be tomorrow or the next day. Let me know what you think...thanks!

Hello all....here are a couple pics of my larger plant today... day 21. You will notice the bottom leaves have brown spots on them and appear to be dying. Any idea what this is? The plant is growing a lot and none of the new growth has any spots. I just started the nutrients less then a week ago at 1/4 strength but the brown spots started before the Nutes. A few specs:

Temp: 75 degrees with lights on 65 when off
Humidity 45%
Lights 20/4 at 24 inches. I moved them up 4” today.
Watered and fed every 3-4 days and only when the pot is dry.

Let me know what you think!

Oh and I added a camera to monitor the temp, humidity and plants. Connected to my phone so I can spy in anytime!

Sometimes it can be slow at first. The only thing you can do is keep posting, keeping your journal on the first page. It's a random hit or miss. It will pick up, no worries. When I did my first grow, I thought I would get more response from YouTube, so that's how I journaled my first grow- other that what I wrote on here. I remember in my second video I asked a question about the new growth in flower being lighter green and asked if anyone knew if it's normal or not. I got a response about a year later in the comments section of the video. Unfortunately, not all the questions you have will be answered by anybody but yourself. Stay lifted!

Thanks Wally.... glad someone here will comment. I dont seem to get much of a response from anyone else when I post.

I pokemy head in and read what's going off. I'm still learning and I find my self tossing and turning between dozens of journals. I make so many quotes by the time I use them inputting them in the wrong journals thinking of the wrong subjects.. I think people tend to only comment on a few that tweak them.

My journal is 90% just me... I find it hard to get people in chatting away like the others. But then again the other guys have been round years I suppose it's a bit community biased in a sense..

Hi all... so I put my humidifier inside the grow tent and I’m at about 40% rh now. When the lights go off it gets to 50% but quickly goes down when they come back on. I also put a bowl of water and wet towels in the grow area. From what I am reading, most are saying this won’t be a huge factor.... I probably need to relax!
one thing I've learned is you can only do the best you can do. For whatever reason we can't always get our conditions exactly what we want. But my two grows came out okay. Plenty of smoke

Thanks guys. Yeah I’ll just keep on going and documenting my grow and I’m sure things will pick up in that regard. I’m very grateful for those of you who have commented so far and a special thanks to highwally for helping me not sweat the small stuff and providing lots of feedback. Thanks friend!

You really have to post daily if not multiple times per day to stay in peoples feeds. If you hang out in some of the busier journals it will give you much more exposure

Hello all! Well the girls are growing nicely. Here are a few pics from today... day 25. The small one is even starting to grow... I think the nutrients are responding well. Feeding every 4 days now
