First Time Grower - Dinafem Blue Widow

Day 18, not much to report today unfortunately. Leaves seem a bit more perky today, could be as a result of fully acclimating to the new container and the shock of being topped in a span of a day. Gave her a little water to help ease some of the shock yesterday. Should I remove the first set of leaves? They are dangerously close to the soil level. I already removed the seed leaves.

Day 19, again nothing to exciting to report. Some internodal growth seen at the second and third nodes. There is some small growth where I topped her. Just finished watering her.

Man I have not stop in since the beginning and your baby sure has taken off. I am excited to try this strain, really nice full leaves and looks like she's keeping close nodes.

This strain seems to be pretty robust. She was quite root bound in the solo cup when I transplanted her and showed no signs of stress on either account. I'm planning on vegging her for at least 6 weeks, might push it to 8 weeks just depending on how satisfied I am with the growth at the time. Starting nutes next week so that should really boost her growth as well.

Just depends on the seed. With the hybrid being close to 50/50 there are chances you could get an Indica dominate plant as I have, or you may get the Sativa dominate plant. Each as you know have different qualities. Hopefully you're able to learn quite a lot about the strain from watching the journal.

Day 20 she's looking good. Watered her this morning. The internodal growth continues to be slow but steady. She's gotten a bit taller she's about 6.5" at the moment.

Day 21/Week 3 growth continues to be slow and steady. Good space between the nodes. Growth at the internodes continues to be slow. I'll give it a few more days till I give her, her first feeding. Going with a quarter strength of Fox Farms Grow Big.

Day 22, sorry for the late update today. Was at Cannabis Cup today. As for our little girl, she continues to focus on her internodal growth. Two tops have finally come in. I think Monday I'm going to feed her, her first nutes.

Day 23, couldn't wait any longer, I fed her, her first nutes. I let her soil dry out more than I usually would, but let's hope that she takes to the nutes. FF called for 6tsps so to get her use to it I went with 1.5tsps. I'll feed her twice a week so the next time she gets fed is Wednesday.

Day 24, she has seemed to really taken to the nutes. Some pretty good growth on top side I also think she got a bit taller as well. The aroma coming off of her is getting more and more intense.

Day 25, she looks good. She's taken well to the nutes, definitely an increase in growth the last few days. Finally have the looks of two tops now. Suppose to feed her Thursday but soil is still too wet to do so at the moment.

Sorry for missing the last couple of days, this week has been a bit crazy. Anyway back to the main attraction, she's looking pretty healthy, measured her at 10.5" tall. Soil was still a too wet to feed her. So I'm hoping after another day under the lights she's dry enough to feed her. Internodal growth continues to develop and her two tops have come in nicely, stretching toward the lights.

Day 30, fed her yesterday. She soaks up about half gal of nutes. Increased the intensity of the notes from 1/4 to 1/2 of what FF says to use. Next feeding I'll be adding grow big to the big bloom. Still adding a few drops of RapidStart for continued root development.
