GrowDad's Blue Berries & Super Skunk Grow 2020

DAY 39
I had to raise the light over sassy due to signs of light burn. I checked the heights on the lass the other superskunk and realized they had gotten closer to the lights. This was on Day 38.

They have really are beginning their upward stretch so this afternoon they will get their flush and we will trip the lights fantastic on these beauties so see what they bring to daddy.

Here they are before their flush this afternoon.

(Day 39 Cont.)
Just finished getting out of the bathtub with these beauties.. 15 gallons of flushing through each one is a lot of work!
After their flush, they were brought back into the grow room. Tonight we trip the lights fantastic and off to flower they go!

After flushing them, I decided to open them up one last time (no tie downs) and just bent them over. They are so saturated they didn't put up a fight. LOL

Now we wait until the next feeding. :bong::reading420magazine::bong::passitleft:

Day 41 transition to flower
the superskunks were ready for their first feeding while in transition to flower.
the blueberries not quite dried out from their flushing so will give them a bit longer before feeding.

temps are 77.7 and RH is 49
No pests to report.
no health issues to report.

Day 42

Day 42, Karen got her first drink in transition. Runt still isnt ready for her feeding in transition.
All the girls are beginning their stretch.

Looks good to me, but then again, my vision is a lil hazy... :lot-o-toke:

Let me know what you think

Day 43 Flower-Day 5
Daytime temps 77
Night time temps 72
RH: 51%

All the plants have begun their noticeable stretch. The lights are on average 13 inches or so from the plants I have a fan blowing right across the underside of the lights pushing the warm air away.. So far so good.

Runt(BB) got her first drink today in flower. She is looking really good.

Lass (SS) is getting pretty big, slightly bigger than her sister Sassy.

Karen(BB) is looking good as well Her leaf pattern on the site in the center at the bottom of the pic is very unique

Sassy(SS) well she is a beast.

Here is the group shot of the gals.

Day 46 Flower-Day 8
Daytime temps 78
Night time temps 72
RH: 55%

Fed Karen yesterday so now the blueberries (in middle) have had one feeding. The superskunks are on their second. I fed them back to back load up the soil and will give them plain water next go around.

Interesting factoid:

Runt, who is the smallest of them all, has now stretched taller than all the others. She is in the middle left.

Overall I am very pleased with the progress. A few days ago I took off the restrictions on the plant LST because I want them to focus all on their buds.

Day 48 Flower Day 10
Temps: 78 - 79
RH: 60%
Pests: None

The Runt (BB) has really thinned herself out and has really stretched taller than all the others. She is on the far right.

She was in the middle directly under the light and it really did not slow her stretch down one bit. So I moved her over to the right and moved LASS (SS) in her place.

I added a couple of box lids wrapped in Mylar to sit in front to push light back to the plants. All the girls are looking healthy and happy.

Day 52 Flower day 14
Temps 78
RH 58%
Pests- None

Its been a few days since the last post. Not much going on and we are not quite at the stage for #weedporn. :blunt:

The girls are all in on the stretch. Runt(BB) has really stretched taller than all the rest.
Here she is:

Lass (SS)

Karen(BB)

Sassy(SS)

So far so good... everything is moving according to plan. I suppose it is a bit boring at the current moment, but nevertheless, we solider on!

Hit me up in the comments and let me know what you think.

Day 56 Flower day 18

Temps 78
RH 50%
Pests None

Issues : Yes

Folks, @Emilya @MagicJim I think I have some PH issues on the Super Skunks.
Here is a couple of Photos Please let me know what you think as well.

I gave these gals some rain water and after I started to notice this. I happened to have some rainwater left over from this last round of hurricanes and I tested the water and the PH was 5.1!

I am assuming this is lending to the issue. I have PH water to 6.3 and gave them each a watering of plain water for now.

What do you think? Is this a PH issue like I suspect?

The leaf curling looks like it was due to the acidic rainwater... the spotting looks like a non mobile deficiency and the pattern suggests that calcium is the culprit. I would follow up next time with some calmag, and definitely keep that pH down around 6.3 for best results.
Thanks Em, Ill have to pick some calmag up.

Day 60 Flower Day 22
Temps 78
RH 55%
Pests: None
Issues: CalMag deficiency, PH Issue (Resolved)

So its been 4 days since the last post... Wednesday, the calmag arrived, so they all received 1/2 ga of PH 62./6.3 water no nutes. Today, they received 1/2 ga of Nutes with calmag.

The Superskunks are the ones suffering from the Calmag deficiency, so hopefully this will resolve the issue. I have corrected the Issues with the PH so hopefully Lass bounces back.

Here is Sassy(SS).. She has some calmag issues too not as pronounced as her sister, so hopefully that's been resolved.

Here is Karen(BB), she isn't not experiencing any issues at all.

Runt (BB) She is the tallest of the bunch... she doesnt quite grow like her sister so is she really a blueberries? Or could it be she is not in perlite? I guess I will never know.. but clearly she is growing faster than the rest.

LASS (SS) She is suffering the most from the CalMag deficiency. Hopefully now she has had a few drinks of it, she will recover.

Finally a group shot. I am excited being my first grow in like 10-15 plus years.. I am hoping for a small pile of the good stuff..:yummy::yummy::yummy::yummy:
