Perpetual Pics

Took forever to upload just a handful of pics. In the mean time I ran down and checked on the flowering gals. Since Mrs' Piggy is out of the tent, I had to work around her, I did some rearranging. I would have taken pics-tomorrow. I fed with 2,000 ppms last feeding. It's weird, the 2 Liter clones have over 1" snowy-white pistils. They look like Dandelions. And that's with 5 different strains. I must have put some extra love into that last feeding.

So, here's some QWISO pics. Not sure why (Lester...?). but it turns out red/amber color. I'd guess that it's from a plant thing-a-ma-jig.

hey josh if you every get an extra 18 grand you can go co2 extraction that's like the low end cost for one of those setups done right
just a thought and a dream

I hear you. Myself, I'd rather put that cost into lighting and ventilation.

I am really taking your advice to heart concerning the LEDs. It's just going to take me a while.

The tortoise always wins the race.

It's not really 'crazy'. I'd say "manageable". Wifey and I are closing on a kick-ass home so I've decided forgo, for the moment, initiating more clones. The mothers are exploding.

Transporting Mums is one thing. I'm just going to err on the side of caution, staging all flowering plants accordingly.

ahh congrats on the house. im sure a secret closet somewhere is already in your head. lol. and yea moving them about is a pain, especially the emotional stress that comes with it. always good to see lush greenery in the pictures. sending positive green vibes your way man.

Hey Josh,

Thought I'd chime in with my 2 cents on this. I am by no means an expert and consider myself an amateur extractor. With that said I've done a substantial amount of research on this topic. Hands down the best resource I've found is right in your backyard. I'm sure you've heard of Skunk pharm. If I were you I'd def try to make it to one of their classes.

The method I'm currently using is their everclear winterization technique. My understanding is this ensures all the Bho is evaporated at the very least. I've been getting a very clean product that hits better than most dabs I tried at the cup. I've even compared it to C02 and typically I prefer the absolute shatter. It has less flavor than the c02 but hits smoother. I think this is because the majority of c02 extractors are not dewaxing. I'm going on personal experience vs science though.

I will say hands down Nikka T's Solventless ice wax is the best I've ever tried. I'm also dying to try the 99.9% dry sift that Mr bubbles calls the caviar of hash. My problem with Solventless methods is the amount of work and yield plus the skill level needed to get full melt. My bubble hash and dry sift never comes out nearly as good as my oil. Guys like Brett maverick who specialize in making shatter on YouTube prefer smoking Solventless but buy it vs make it because of the effort lol.

As far as residuals I'm really not sure. I know many experts I've followed say that many of the processed foods available in our grocery stores have worse residuals than even average oil. Whether thats true or not I have no idea but my lungs feel a hell of a lot better smoking a gram of oil a day vs a quarter oz of flower lol.

Here's a pic of some shatter I made last night from trim/larf nugs. It's a little dark because it's folded so many times but it's actually honey yellow when spread out.

There's some food poisoning going around my locale. My wife, myself, even my dog has been suffering. I'm still working on trimming Mrs. Piggy. I'm trying to focus all my time on that task as I trimmed off the majority of her weight, terminal buds, Sunday night. I'm worried that they are going to start molding. Pardon my absence.

I have a feeling that I need to be up all night trimming. I need to check the flowering girls. I'll attempt to upload some pics. A few days ago Mr. Bubbles described the smell of the Blue Blood as, if I remember correctly, as Blueberry Skittles. I agree with that. Makes my mouth water. The Purple Kush...wow, I know this smell. I've had this strain before and enjoyed it very much, just never grown it. Thank you R.L. for the strain recommendation. The B.C. God Bud is right up there too. Something about its bouquet is only vaguely familiar. I think it has some island Haze mixed in there even though it seems to be the most Indica dominant strain I have. Super sweet with a backnote of spice is how I'd describe it.

I gave an 1/8 of my Holy Grail Kush to an associate tonight. He's one of the folks in the 'network'. He grows with great genetics. My impression is that he doesn't have much of a clue. At any rate, he called me up after sampling mine. "Bro, you did this sh*t up proper." Really made my efforts feel justified.

Welcome aboard CareStaker! :welcome:

No pics tonight. I'm still feeling unwell. Hot and humid here, makes being a welder pretty miserable. I've also haven't finished the harvest of Mrs. Piggy. Luckily I married a good woman. She trimmed about 1/4 lb worth (when dried) while I was at work.

The little elements in all my vape pen units have burned out. I've been reduced to medicating with bud. Sounds horrible, right. So, I was told that this one E-Cig store sold replacement parts. Nope, at least not the one I'm looking for. They tell me to go to this one porn shop that sells paraphernalia. I go there, neon sign reads "OPEN" but both doors were locked. Weird.

I ended up buying what I needed online. Hopefully I'll get it on Monday. I'm going to make wax out of all of Mrs. Piggies trim. This plant is a lot larger than even what I was thinking. There is quite a bit (Dried ounces worth) of loose/popcorn that I'm not wasting my time with trimming. This may be my best wax yet.

Hope your feeling better. We rarely even go out to eat anymore. Seems like we always get sick from restaurant food. Thank god my wife is Asian and cooks amazing food lol. She's a badass trimmer too. I seriously think women might be better at trimming then men. Her little hands are so much faster with try micro pruners lmao.

The blue blood is smelling so amazing. More and more like blueberry skittles every day. I've gotta try to get you a pic. This 5 gal one is bushed out really well.

I've stopped lolly popping my plants almost completely. Usually go about half way from the top all the way down into the trim pile. The popcorn nugs make amazing oil and aren't worth the effort to trim. I just ran a nug vs this type of trim last night. Quality was about the same between the two. The nug run was wild thai. 100% sativa :)
