Hey question I seen u started with regular seeds how many males did u get! I also started with three reg seeds. Also did the show sex before u bloomed or did it take light switch to find out?

Pino's Coco & Perlite - Thunderpaws - First Grow Ever 2017

Germed 4 seeds and 1 was male, had to wait until after the flip the sex them. I got feminized seed from one of the 2 purple phenos.

Feminized purple pheno seeds hopefully I can get to that point. Just did defoliation on two of my plants just way to bushy and inner growth was suffering. In hind sight I wish I would of documented in my journal but sure there will b a next time!! Hope out of three I get one male!! That would be fantastic!! Fingers crossed!!

i am on my first rock wool grow too but i just water by hand every day
well its kind of a new wacky style im trying , rockwool/hempy/swick box LOL

Rockwool was ok by me, only thing i noticed is plants didnt want watered as much in rockwool. Hope your first rockwool grow nails it!

Since rockwool doesn't need to be watered as often, would it benefit from foliar spraying?

I didnt but i just try and avoid issues and foliar seems to have problems along with the benefits. Coco i feed twice a day with rockwool i watered once a day.

Im not gonna train as much, top and let them grow out then set up my scrog early. Let the scrog do all the training and that should shave a bunch of time of the grow.

How many times will you top before letting them grow vertically? Do you have a "number" of tops you are aiming for on each plant?

I just put 5 photo and 2 auto beans in water this morning, ill be cleaning up the tent and get ready for next grow today and tmro. Hopefully will have babies ready to start a new journal by the first of next week. Ill be doing the following this time:

Photos:
Girl scout cookies S1
Pineapple chunk
Kaliman cheese #1
Cotton candy
Vanilla kush

Autos:
Dark devil
Chemdog auto

Ill veg photos while the autos do their thing then when i harvest autos ill scrog photos for a bit and flip.
