Stratlogic's Hydro Closet ScrOG Grow

I've followed your journals and I am quite inspired. BIG UPS !!! looking forward to the results.

It's about 2.5 ft from the bottom of the bucket. That leaves me with roughly 10" between the where the screen is anchored and the glass. I say "anchored" because the plant pushes the middle of the screen up another 5 inches in the middle.

Using Lst in combination with scrog seems to work very well for small personal grows. I'm tuned in. Still using CFL to veg?

Indeed Cherma. Indeed. And yes bigdeal I am sold on CFLs for vegging for numerous reasons. I didn't get an exact measurement but judging from the picture at day one, it looks roughly 14".

I've noticed some weird growth going on in this grow and am wondering if any of you have seen anything like it. It's just some bagseed so I have no idea the genetics.

This fan on the left has 11 leaves.

There is a bud growing on a fan leaf. Yes, on the fan leaf...a bud.

This is either a bad thing or this is gonna be some bad ass bud that's gonna make me giggle like a little school girl. Hopefully the latter.

I've never seen or heard of anything like this. Anyone ever come across this in a grow before? Any help on this one is much appreciated.

WOW. Great Grow. Interesting plant, can't wait for the girl to blossom

Hey Strat, what are you feeding those things? still doing 2 gals w/ 6tsp A and B?

Correct. Second cycle I feed once a week 2 gals w/ 6tsp A and B (3 tsp/gallon A/B) and then I top it off with plain r/o water when it gets low to hold off until the next feeding. I get by without ever having to ever check the ph since it never drifts making it very low maintenance. The only hard part is waiting until harvest.

hey man, been following your grow for quite a while already. :)
you've been huge inspiration for me, Im building same type of grow box and hydro system in couple of weeks. but I was just wondering, how do you flush your system?

Thanks temran and welcome to the site. To answer your question I just dump the bucket out and replace it with fresh r/o water and the respective nutes when vegging. During flowering I just add water since the screen prevents me from removing the plant from the box. I always add two gallons once a week. During flowering the plant will easily suck up two gallons so I top it off throughout the week with plain r/o water to keep the pump submerged until its time for the next feeding. Hope that helps.

I think I let this plant veg for too long and these buds are out of control. A problem but not really and since I have no way to access the back half of the box, I can only hope the buds in the back are as plentiful as they are in the front.

I accidentally supercropped several bud sites while trying to position them in the screen when the plant was stretching and have decided I am definitely going to supercrop from now on. What originally started as just a ScrOG grow, over time inadvertently turned into a ScrOG-LST-Supercrop grow and has definitely payed off.

Just a couple more weeks...

Really cool grow, as usual. I've seen pictures on this site of the bud-on-leaf phenomenon. The extra leaves seem unique. Best wishes on these nubile young ladies.

Stratlogic, it's the ScrOG-LST-Super Crop grows like this one that make me drool. I'm on day 17 of mine, no plans on a journal yet but I've been following your lead on many things.
