The 420fied Plan

Thanks folks.

Most of the clones in my aero system are starting to show signs of rooting. I'll have roots that I can photograph within the next 5 days.

The majority of the outdoor seeds have cracked. I will be planting them in very small starter cups within the next 2 days and will provide photos. I'm going to let them cook under my 2'x4' T5 for about 15 days and then it's out the door and under the big HPS. I plan on moving them outside around the 25th or so. They will have a solid month to veg. They should end up between 3 and 4 feet when finished.

Curious, what photoperiod are you using with the T5 array with the babies? Will you be mimicking the day length when planting or are you supercharging them with enhanced hours of light per day?

The beauty of the 420fied plan is that it is like the United States Constitution. It can be changed at any time! lol

We all know it has changed 2 or 3 times already. It seems to evolve a bit every day. Just to give you an update on where things stand:

I have a new Snow White mother that provided the clones for this aero run. I have also cut 10 clones from her to transplant into soil for the outdoor run. I have approx 85 seeds still germing with 15 planted today and another 30 or 40 getting planted tomorrow into their starter cups.

I have decided to take another 10-15 cuttings off of the Snow White mother to take outdoors. I will have at least 25-35 femmed Snow White plants outdoors along with a load of other strains. As I dig holes I can't find a reason not to plant more than 100. I already have 125 holes dug. I will be filling them with soil and water crystals in the coming week..... and then 10-12 days later I will take the babies into their plots. I will be sure and take plenty of pics for you guys when they go into the ground. This could turn into a pretty large outdoor grow before it's said and done.

I will have approx 35 female Snow Whites, and another 100 or so of various strains. If 1/2 of those are fems, I'm looking at 75-85 harvest able plants in the end. As most of you know, this is a set em and forget em deal. There will be no feeding/watering them. Just good soil and water crystals.

I will however, have to go to the plots and sex the plants. I'm not worried about it as my plots are WAYYYY off the beaten path. Of course that will give me an opportunity to take some pics for you pic whores...lol

One other trip that I will make after sexing is what I call the "greencure" trip. Last year I fought mold on my outdoor plants and I have heard good things about greencure and plan to use it this fall.

So as things get closer to coming to fruition the plan becomes a little more clear. It gets changed as needed but the basics are the same:

1. A 9 plant Snow White aero grow under 1200 watts (in progress)
2. Approx 75-85 harvest able plants outdoors with a set and forget deal. (in progress)

I'm a numbers guy so here's how I see it. For conversation sake lets say I get 75 females (I'm betting I get more than that). Lets say I average 2 ounces per plant which I think I can easily do (last year I averaged 4 1/2). That's 150 ounces of top notch gunge.

Of course I assume mold will get me for 20-30% of that which will turn into some fine Gumby hash.

In the end I assume I'll be able to save 70- 75% of the harvested bud. So 75% of 150 = 112.5 ounces. This tells me I can realistically bring home 100 ounces.

Also, I have not ruled out adding more femmed Snow white clones to the outdoor grow as my mother grows. I have a LOT of good grow territory so I may as well plant em, right? I doubt I'll get any larger than 200 plants though, no matter what.

As always sounds like you got this thing well planed and room for expansion if needed. Will be fun to see and hear how it all turns our for you... Good luck, not that you will need it....

Thanks Sonzor.

Here's a few pictures to give you all an idea of where we are. Much better pictures will be on the way once things start growing good.

Here's my poor Mom. She's given up 20 clones already and I plan to take more

Here's some cuttings. The 5 bigger ones were cut today and placed in starter pellets. The 4 in front that look wilted were an experiment. I cut them and simply placed them in a cup of water to see if they would root. I put them in the cup on May 20th and they are just now popping roots. It did indeed work! I placed them in pellets today. They look rough but they will make it. The 15 cups to the right are seeds that I buried this morning.

Here's the rest of the starter cups for the seeds that are still popping. There's gonna be lots of babies.

Here's the rest of the outdoor seeds. You can see that many have popped and the tap roots are emerging.

Finally, here is the aero unit with clones in it. They are just now starting to root. Once the roots become good and visible I will provide some pictures of root porn.

More to come soon........

Wow, man. Would you like to start a summer work program? I bet you'd have to beat them off with a stick. Or just throw a handful of buds and run as the riot ensues.

REPs (if I can)!

hope your hard work is well rewarded brother!

learned a while back that life laughs at my plans, so I can appreciate your flexibility and resourcefulness.

As Kevin Gilbert once said "Life is what happens while you're making plans"

Is this in a separate journal that I've missed? A redo of your master piece

Are those 6" pipe this time? I know you maxed out last time ;)

I am running the aero grow and the outdoor grow in this journal just like my other one. I just loaded the aero unit with clones and I'm going to grow them straight this time without the screen. It should be a 90 day cycle for me.

The only change is that the scale of my outdoor grow has increased dramatically.

I stayed with the 4 inch pipes and since my veg time will literally only be 15 days, I won't have quite the root mass that I had on the last run. I actually had a little room left last time but 6" would be ideal.

I'm hoping to harvest 100 ounces outdoors and who knows on the aero run.... maybe 15-18 ounces.

Thanks bro. It will be a big job but I like the fact that it's a 1 man show. No partner needed here.

I have 125 holes dug,.... I have 10 clones rooting, 40 seeds are planted in starter cups as of this morning and there's still another 60-70 seeds popping.

I may end up with close to 150 plants outdoors.

I guess it all depends on how much time one has, how paranoid he is, and how greedy he is.....lol

I have lots of time and I'm very greedy and paranoid(no partners). Other than carrying in the soil. Most of my hard work is done.

I'm hoping the grow gods will smile on me this year.

Looking good, the clones you just put in water. Was it just plain water or did you put something in it, I tried the clone in the water and ended up with some pretty icky stems. I cleaned them off and put them in soil and a couple made it, but not sure I will try that method again...

Plain water believe it or not. I had seen it done on video but had never tried it. I wouldn't have cared if they hadn't made it but it looks like they are going to.

Amazing!

I have dug 6 holes lately and that was enough! How big are the holes, and do you have any machinery, or is it by hand?

+Reps if I can!
