Heya DubbleDutch! Sorry for the delay (slammed weekend). You can't get XJ-13 seeds(at least not that I am aware of). It is a rescue strain and only sold in clones. If you live in Norcal many clubs have them.

even when I hold my formula steady (same amount of nutes per gallon), the PPM's just slowly raise over time. When I flush the system, the PPM's go back to what I expect, but then slowly start creeping back up.

Overfeeding? Plants using more water than nutrient would concentrate that nutrient in the remaining water - thus, a higher EC.

Your grow is looking great man! I would say that our indica's are close (yours might be a little ahead). My XJ's are lagging but the last couple of days the buds have been growing.

Thanks TS! I have been using an EC pen instead of my main Hanna meter (took it out while I am waiting for my PH probe replacement to arrive). I found out that my EC pen needed to be calibrated (reading way too low). I hooked up my main Hanna meter and found out that I was above 2000PPM's. For how long not quite sure (could be over a week). The last 4 waterings have been straight water - no nutes (besides H2O2). A total of 8 gallons in a 17 gallon system. I just finally got it to go below 2000. That means for sometime I was probably in the mid 2000 PPM's. I only got a little leaf tip burn. I got really lucky. I think I learned 2 things. One, make sure my shit is calibrated. Second, that the strains and my setup should be able to handle 2000PPM's at this stage of the grow.

Thanks GG! You know your LST for sure! I had to tie a number of the main sites. I think the XJ's are starting to slow down. I hope, because I am out of room.

Hi all. I thought I would throw up a little bud porn this morning. I was taking pics of the ladies this morning and I was really happy to see how frosty they are starting to get. The Purple Kush buds are really starting to swell and get frosty. The XJ-13 buds are behind, but in the last few days they are getting bigger as well.

Since I have run out of room for the XJ's I have had to LST the tops of the cola's that are stretching too tall. I will end up with a crazy looking canopy, but as long as i can keep the canopy even I am hoping that will increase the yield.

Your speaking the truth bro. Granted it is my first grow and I have nothing to compare it to, but it sure makes those buds frosty. Can't wait for these ladies to finish up.

Tonight I did my last flush until the major flush at the end of the grow (unless something bad happens). I checked the roots tonight and all seems to be well. Fingers crossed that all goes well into the next phase (using botanicare and switching to a new base nute).
