Tyson's 4x4 ScrOG Feat: Mimosa In DWC 2019

Now that’s a crazy comparison, wow! You’ve got her dialed in Ty! :morenutes: You’re making me want to try out some dwc some time!

You’re making me want to try out some dwc some time!
You should! The only thing is, every component in your system needs to be optimized to keep up with the speed that dwc allows for. Imo if you're not using co2 and substantial lighting, it's just not worth it. It will grow as fast as it would in soil, which isn't bad just not super fast. Itd be like putting a top of line engine in a car but having square wheels.

Here's the new gadget, a Titan Controls Eos 2. I love my inkbirds but this allows me to dehumidify with a single fan and carbon filter, both day and night, with different humidity ranges. It's got a built in photocell, so no timer required, just like my Atlas 9 that controls the co2. Can you tell I like Titan products?

Awesome work. All I can see is πr² now. :D

I'd love to say it's all me, but it's really these genetics. Mimosa is just a beast. Just wait for flowering. I've seen what she can do when she's not even dialed in properly. I think we're all in for a treat.
I absolutely love DWC. If anybody wants to get started with it or has any general questions about it feel to ask.

7/29/19 6:00 am Day 66
temp 81 rh 70% ec 1.4 ph 5.7 co2 1150

Getting close! 48 hours after my res change, the water level had dropped a little more than 2 gallons and the ppm rose from 1080 to 1150. I took .75 gallons out and replaced with 1.75 gallons fresh ro (with only hydroguard). This brought the ppm to 990, where it has been steady for 36 hrs so I think this is a better range.

Some more info. I've kept my chiller set at 66f since I installed it. It has a deadband of 2, so it kicks on at 68f. I've noticed my res pretty much stays at 67. The Eos2 has a deadband of 5, and my day humidity is set at 72 and my night humidity is set at 57. The dehumidifing fan kicks on at these levels and drops it 5%. So my day humidity stays between 67-72% and my night humidity stays between 52-57%.

Last tuck of veg! 48 hours until flip. I'm going to give her 2 days to grow out then switch to 12 hrs of darkness. Remember how I said I wanted to veg her as long I flowered her. I'm expecting to flower for 64 days. I think if I lower the net 2" next time that would save me a couple days and I figure 2 days lost time for the vinegar incident . . so my 68 day veg time could be optimized to 64. We'll see, she might need more/less time in flower. Gotta listen to the plant as much as I like to plan.

I also want to try a 6/2 lighting schedule for veg next run. I can definitely see some "tiredness" in the plant the last 2 hours or so of lights on. Maybe this will allow the plant to take full advantage of every daylight hour next time.

I created a little gallery thread where I posted the best pics I have for each day. It's a quick way to skim through and check out the day to day progress without having to scroll through a bunch.
It's in my sig.

Tyson you got more instruments then a fully accompanied orchestra lmao. Looking mint I'll roll up a chair
Thank you! It's a rather addicting hobby. I'm always tinkering, so things change up all the time but I'm very happy with the current setup.

8/1/19 3:00 am Day 69 (1F)
temp 81 rh 70% ec 1.2 ph 5.8 co2 1150
night temp 69 rh 55% water temp 67

Flower day 1. Finally.
I changed the res and added per gallon, 1.25ml Armor si, 2ml calmag, 3ml micro, 3ml grow, 3ml bloom, 0.4ml ph down, 2ml hydroguard. 10 gallons filled her up and I plan for that to last 8 days with only top ups of fresh water. I'll tuck her in a couple days.
