2nd grow need some help

To get the hang of watering and to make sure the plants were drinking up the water I'd weigh them before and after. Next time I felt it was time to water, I'd weight the pot and see exactly how many grams of water had been consumed by the seedling. I could then calculate how much it needed to get back to the former level and repeat.

I think transplant went well she very happy today And Will give that try seems easier that way and wouldn’t it be overwatering everyday even if it in fabric pot ? Does the soil dry between waterings ?

Iam in different soil.
In LOS no-till you never let your soil dry out it would literally kill it.
I am in 25 gallon pots, with lots of worms, lots of cover crop, so my soil is very porous with lots of oxygen.
I also super oxygenate my water with 02 emitters to raise the dissolved oxygen level.

So it depends on your soil, how much aeration you have in it.
I can pour a gallon of water into my pot and it's like pouring it through a screen door, soaks right in instantly.

So even in fabric pots you could overwater, just depends on your soil.
IMO if you don't need to water at least twice a week then your soil is too compacted and lacking aeration and oxygen.

I have a little autoflower that I am probably going to harvest today that's in a 4 gallon fabric pot with my same base soil that I am using in my No-till.
By week 4 I was watering it every single day.
So there's no cut and dry schedule to go by.
How often you water is totally dependent on the porosity of your soil and if it's in fabric.
But in general in a fabric pot I would never let my soil get so dry it feels light and there's no reason to because the roots are air pruning and creating far more root tips and getting much more oxygen than they would in a plastic pot.

If you are overwatering in a fabric pot it means your soil isn't quite right because it should be dang near impossible to do.

I’ve never transplanted so not sure on how much water you think they be alright with the 0.5litre I gave em and wait ? Or give some more till run off when lights come back don’t want to under or over water and Yeah I used the lift method all the way through my first grow worked perfect for me think I’m gunna try watering the edges and gettting root ball to the best it can be cause that was my issue first time didn’t have a big root system sorry for the questions
High JD, next time, leave then in the cups till you're having to feed or water them, every 2 days, before transplanting. is the 3 gal pot the final container? And I would suggest starting with at least 1 gal pots. Good luck !!

Ok thanks was scared they get rootbound and yeah be the final pot tge 3 gallon only got 5ft height so not sure how long to veg for here’s a pic of all as of today started some LST on the autos
