Well I put the scope to the buds today and am showing quite a bit of amber and a lot of milky trichomes. Problem is there are still quite a few white pistils. What’s the pros and cons of harvesting with some pistils still not orange? Should I let it go one more week and then harvest or should I enter 36 hours of darkness now and then chop?

I should mention I do want a more couchlock high so I am thinking about letting it turn more amber in the trichomes
Tricombs are getting into range. But still lots of white pistils which means its still flowering and swelling. :thumb:

I’ll keep it going then maybe another week and see how she looks then
You can always harvest a bud earlier to try out. I know its hard to leave her be but your going to be rewarded in th end. :peace:

I have patience lol I’d rather wait it out and be happy with the end result
Its the right thing to do my friend.:peace::green_heart:

Good morning everyone, last night she got fed nutes following fox farms schedule. I’m hoping I’m in the last 2 weeks as i am supposed to be going away for a couple days soon, I’m hoping to have her chopped and curing by time I go away. Any way here are some pictures from this morning

Looking very tasty!!!

My guess would be a little more time before harvest for the defined coach lock effect.

Does anybody know if any folks leave there lights off for 36 hours partially/stagger harvest then put the remainder of the plant back on 12/12?
Good question. Anybody?

Well it appears to be getting close to the end what do you all think? Stil have some white pistils but the majority of them are starting to curl and turn orange and the trichomes have mostly turned milky with some amber. Even with a carbon filter on as soon as I open my door to my room I get hit with a nice whiff of a great smell. There will be multiple post of pics from this morning as I took a bunch to get some feedback from you more seasoned growers. I’m thinking after next watering I’ll put her in 36 hours of darkness and then harvest. Thankyou all so far that have contributed to my journal and offered help and guidance. If you think I should still wait it out more than a week I will. I don’t want a heady high, I want a couch lock no anxiety but also don’t want it to produce to much cbd if I let it go amber more. Let me know what you all think

The plants are looking great, but don't get too anxious yet... it looks to me like you have just entered the last 2 weeks. You still have some straight and white pistils there, they have not even all bent over yet and that means she is still flowering. I also see a lot of clear trichomes. Two weeks is going to change all that... there won't be any white pistils and the buds will have chunked out a bit more... and you will start to find good percentages of amber trichomes at the very top, and almost no clear ones.

Some more pics

I'm sure its not what you want to hear but white pistols means she is still flowering.
Getting closer though.

I’m going to wait it out then I want the best possible bud, I did take a sample this morning of a bud just to try currently having it dry in a paper bag with low heat then I will let it cure for a week and see how it is unless you have another recommendation on doing a quick dry/cure for a test

I've herd of people using microwave to dry for a quick test, but I don't a procedure for that. Otherwise just air dry for couple days.
