3 Sativa Dominate Mystery Seeds - Sea Soil - Fish Fertilizer - Flourescent Indoor

will shat my pants if it is a male...

Honestly... in all my years of experimenting with growing, I've never had 1 male under the shittiest setup.

I heard you actually have to stress the plant with light (or another means?) to turn it male.

It's like in birth evolution, we're all originally female before testosterone kicks in.

I took a couple clones from my far right plant (in the pic). I've never really had a successful clone but I have gotten it to root before killing it. I took 2 clones and put them in the veg box (leaving them on 24 hours, I'll set the time tomorrow) and turned the fans on so they don't burn like my seedlings.

Hopefully I didn't just butcher the plant for nothing...

EDIT: I think I'm going to fimm a few of the leaves.

+++++++++++++++

My light setup is..

1x 45w 4000K
3x 23w 6500K
1x 24w T5HO 6500K
1x 100w 6500K
1x 125w 6500K/2700K

so my bad.. 363w. Forgot to x3 the 23w.

Veg day 26 (week 3 1/2)... things seem to be doing pretty good. I plan on doing a 49 day veg cycle (7 weeks).

I was thinking about topping the plants again in about a week.

As you can see in the picture a bit, I took a couple clones off the bottom plant. I've had them under light for the last 24 hours and I'm going to set them on 18/6 tonight. Wish me luck! :D

+++++++++++++++

EDIT: I really want to change out my x3 23w(or 26 I forget) 6500Ks.. I'd like to put in another 125w Sun God Komee CFL and remove the other two 23w's and put in one 85w CFL. Preferably a 6500K125w and a 5000K 85w.

My system is basically going head-to-head against the 400w Mars II Hydro... which I serious argue that I simply have better spectrum control. Personally I think living under a purple light would make you sick after awhile. I live under the same technology I use to grow... high mixed spectrum lumen output at low wattage. Two lights in my bachelor suite are 6500K and the door way is 2700K.

The only problem with CFLs is that they can be expensive... then again, so can LED. Two Mars II Hydros (600) will run you $400 (to fill my tent) and last 15,000 hours. CFLs are like $20 for a box 5 26ws (1 box for each spectrum), so say $35. A 100w Sun God Komee (brand name off eBay) will cost you $50 + about $50 for shipping. So sure you're looking at a $100 bulb.. but you only need 4 to match the Mars II Hydro, aka $400.. so the question is... does LED really out-perform controlled spectrum CFL? Well, so far my 78w CFL setup put the 90w UFO LED to shame.. but now they claim, "new LEDs are nothing like that old garbage." We'll see...

Honestly, I've seen home-made LED bars that give out 90,000 lumen of white light.

Regarding the new LED tech, yeah some say it is better and create a lot more dense buds but honestly it is way too expensive still, my next setup would be HPS 400w dual spec and for the amount of that setup regarding the LED, I would be able to only buy the lights then still build box, get nutes, fans, etc. You really need to chuck a lot of money at it and hope it comes out good. A lot of these people are switching out their HPS for LED but then again who wants to buy a $500-600 LED when a whole HPS setup would be about that much and still give you great buds. :reading420magazine: Your plants are looking great though, mine is 27 days as of today and not nearly as big as yours, maybe cause my nutes started way late :goof: Hope your clones take off bru!!

Today is week 4 day 4 of the veg cycle. Everything is looking good just the plants seem a little bent right now because I wasn't rotating them for the last few days. I didn't end up giving it any more fish fertilizer yet, but I will next watering.

I let the soil on my clones get really dry because I was away for awhile and forgot about them, but them seem to still be alive. I really hope they had a chance to root because I'm positive I can keep them alive if they did.

Today is Veg Day 36 (of 49). I gave them fertilizer last night again and cut a couple more clones off the plant on the right in the pic.

000213.jpg

These are the new clones I cut. I have them in the tent under 18/6 light.

000311.jpg

Here's my two older clones... I cut them really young so they've been having a hard time rooting but they both managed to. I was also bad at letting it dry out too much. I also have the lights on these set to a 24 hour schedule since I don't have a heavy duty timer for the veg box.. All the growth in the center of the plants are generally new. Next time, I won't clone so early.

I have them running under two 5000K and one 2700K CFLs. (I didn't have anymore 6500Ks)

...right now I honestly don't know what they're going to do.

then again who wants to buy a $500-600 LED when a whole HPS setup would be about that much and still give you great buds.

Yeah I did the math and for two "200w LEDs" it works out to be about $400 CAD which is about the same price as my CFL setup... only minus most the spectrum control.

A 400w MH/HPS switchable with reflector would run me about $280 CAD, almost half the price. But again, harder to control spectrum and more heat issues.

I just bought an ounce of shake for about $40 (well... $7 to me). The herb was complete trash (bottom of the bag outdoor) but it was LOADED with seeds which is why I bought it. Many of them seem pre-mature but out of every 10 or so there's a really promising seed.

seedz1.jpg

This is what I got out of about a gram worth of shake... I figure there's at least 1,000-1,500 seeds in the bag.

...Hopefully these'll be the regular seeds I need to get a male.

^^ That's a better photo of the seeds I got.

Today is week 6 day 1 veg.. I moved my plants down to get a bit of a stretch started. I also gave them more fish grow fertilizer. I'll be switching to flowering in 6 days (June 22nd).

20160620_135945.jpg

Today is flower day 1! (2 days early.) I switched my timer to a 12/12 schedule and swapped all my bulbs.

I'm now running...
1x T5HO 24w 2700K 2232 lumen
1x Sun God Komee 4U Blaster 100w 2700K 7500 lumen
1x Sun God Komee Lotus 125w 2100K 9500 lumen
1x Sun God Komee Dual-Spectrum Lotus 125w 6500K/2700K 9500 lumen
1x 45w 5500K 2650 lumen
2x 23w 2700K 1600 lumen

So I run a total of 34,582 lumen at 465w... pretty decent if you ask me.

I want to run one more T5HO along the side of the plants (already own it).. but I need to wait until this weekend when I can get a power bar to place in there.

Day 3 flower.. the stretch has started :D

This is my youngling-clone. I really need to pay more attention to it than I have been. Been letting it dry out a little too much.

..it's under 24 hour light.. (2x 26w 5000K's and 1x 23w 2700K)

Sorry for the long delay in updates.. I was taking some personal time.

Today is week 2 day 1 (day 15) of my flower cycle. Things are looking good and they're all female.. :)

^^ These are my two clones that rooted... so after the 3 flowering plants are done, I'll have 2 more ready to batch.

I just started my three flowering plants on Dirt n' Grow's Evolve Organic Fish Bloom Fertilizer... rated at 2 - 3 - 1. I used 2 teaspoons in 2L of tap water. Hope it wasn't too much..

Flower day 23.

Flower day 25... I just gave them another 2L shot of water with the fish bloom fertilizer.

I've been going as long as possible between wasterings for the flower cycle.

Flower week 4 day 1 (flower day 29). I've been letting it dry out as much as possible, to the point you notice it in the leaves... I just heard this is good to do for dense buds while flowering, and increases resin production.

pic0213.jpg

As you can see... at the back of my grow the plants are already turning quite red-haired. I think this is because it's the closest to the 2100K/2700K bulbs where as the other side is closer to 2700K/5000K and less red hair.

pic04.jpg

Here's my topped clones. The plant on the right has been looking a little rough since I let it dry out and topped it quite young. It almost has a yellow-tinge to it, but it's under the exact same grow mediums as the plant to the left.

I gave them both 'fish grow fert.' today. :)

Man you jinxed it :rofl: LoL!!!!

Man you jinxed it :rofl: LoL!!!!

haha sorry bro.. = P

Today is flower day 41... (almost week 6.. I'm honestly thinking about an 8 week flower cycle for this... all depends on growth over this next while.)

...I hear in the early 19th century farmers would wait until majority of the leaves fell off or died before turning a crop... then they'd use huge fork machines to flip it back and forth to dry it all out for the last few weeks.

Hope all is well in your world.

Is this grow still alive?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?
