CLOJ Goes Coco! Mandala Speed Queen - Drip to Waste

I think they must have taken the name for cereal from seeing buds just like yours. Frosted Flakes (supposed to be before they changed it - Frosted Bud Cereal, but someone chickened whizzed out at the company and they went for the more 'family friendly' version). Could of happened, you never know!

Great job C as always:bravo:.

No CO2, but Ive been contemplating adding a little 2Litre DIY generator, like I had on my first grow. Don't know how effective it was, but it definitely put out a good amount of co2.
How much CO2 is actually used? A building-block for biomass
Totally seal a grow box or room, generate enough to replace
Bugs kept out, odors in. An airlock's required for access
Grow stinking weed like what I need, hallmark of up-market grass

Vented away, your bottle's play. More work than contribution
HEPA in, carbon scrub out. Fans and filters a practical solution
CO2 is historically high from industrial-age 'pollution'
Fresh air's good in my neighborhood. Fugedabout fermentation

Ha! Thanks Woodsman! I would definitely still be eating their cereal if it was called Frosted Bud Cereal!...Someone realllly made a goof in their marketing department :)

There's some porno to please my old rheumy eyes!
Speed Queen is definately on my list to Santa Claus.

How do you like coco coir, so far?

Propa-G! Thanks for looking in! Yea, the Speed Queen has been a really pleasant surprise...a wonderful strain to grow. Can't wait to see how it finishes! Also, I'm really liking the coco. Better than my last soil grows for sure! I'll be sticking with it for a long while to come. I think I'm going to give those H&G cocos nutes a go on the next grow too. Have you tried any of their other products (Roots Excellerator, Bud-XL, Shooter Gel, etc..)??? If so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about them.

Thanks brother!

yeah buddy!

;)

Thanks SS!!:hookah:

Those buds are looking amazing!

Thanks for the kind words Sanibel! I find myself opening the cab multiple times a day just to stare at them. Speed Queen is a beautiful girl!!

Thanks Smokey! I appreciate the kind words! The quality of the buds that get entered in the contests are simply amazing! I'm flattered that my entry is being considered for your vote :)

One brick of coco coir is 650g = 1.43 lb. Add one gallon water, get 8 or 9 liters.

Cocos is so well regarded that no other nutrient marketer competes. I agree, stuff works perfectly. I haven't even checked pH in weeks; I measure in A and B with tap water then pour. No issues, just keep it light. 5mls of each works, 10 each max. I ran most of their additives last crop and have a mixed review: great results but because of or despite I don't know. And they're expensive.
I havn't tried Roots Ex yet, may never. I don't want excess roots; my grow vessels are small.
Only a side-by-side comparison can proove their worth, and I haven't gotten to that yet.

Propa-G. Yea, I know their other stuff is pretty costy. Just wondering if you had any compelling results with to justify me getting them. Sounds like I'll just be sampling the A&B, and using my usual molasses for carbs.

Thanks for your 2cents!! :smokin:

Today I bought a $58 liter of the main H&G additive Bud XL to work with the Top Booster and Shooting Powder that I had already. If these give me 5% extra yield, I'll make twice their price for using them. Maybe more for increased quality. I will use them as recommended. I've never added carbs or cal-mag to my mix.
Trips to the grow store don't always go as planned. ;)

Ha! Sounds like my trips to the hydro shop...I always come out with more than I went in for. I hope you get some great results with that Bud XL!! ;)

UPDATE TIME!!

Today the girls have been flowering for 40 days. In this last week they have swelled like crazy and hit the resin production into overdrive. They also have upped their scent production...but it is a verrry subtle odor. I still have to literally stick my nose right up on em to get a decent whiff of their citrusy sweet stink.
This week, I ran out of my Big BLoom, so the girls have just been getting the Tiger bloom @ 7ml/gal, and some Brer Rabbit @ 15ml/gal with every watering. They seem to not really care about missing the big bloom..so I'm not going to be picking any more up.

Also, tonight I grabbed my scope and checked the trichs. They are already starting to cloud up. I'd say they are about 25% cloudy - 75% clear at this point. I'm hoping to chop them at an all cloudy state, before any turn amber. Will be checking them every night from now on until I like what I see. Should be sometime in the near future!!!

Don't have pics right now, but I'll take some and upload them in an hour or two.

Thanks!! ;)

...And the photos. Enjoy!
