Pic of washed bud - cut last Tuesday, trying to bend it, if I push any harder it will snap .... so not too wet after wash!

Yah and faster ... here's a non washed bud I can bend it in half lol .

Maybe the lemon oil/ baking soda helps the cure?

Hi Snarly, I have been following along for a while now (Megsyb is my wife) just a question on why people wash there colas? Also your lady's look great!

hey mike originally i was going to wash only half so i could do a test and see if there was a difference but when i got started and i saw the water ( IT WAS DIRTY) i was compelled to go ahead and wash it all i dont want that on my bud i will always wash now think of it when you go the store and buy produce whats the first thing you do wash it before you eat it the same with bud!

Hi Mike, and welcome to my journal!

There are people here with much more knowledge about washing buds, but my understanding is that washing will get rid of undesirable dust, residual chemical residue, powder mildew, mites and whatnot. I think it might be more appropriate for outdoor grows, but indoor could benefit as well I suppose. Personally, I don't wash, but I am not against the idea if it can make a difference. I grow strictly indoors, and being basically lazy, I just hang and dry.

Btw, you and Megsy are doing a great job!

Absolutely stunning snarly ..Great job my friend been with ya since almost the beginning and I'll tell ya what a great show ..especially only being ur second Harvest ..strait killing it bud !!! Like I said before imagine 10 grows from now .. wouldn't be surprized if your bud shots ended up on the cover of high times magazine

Good morning friends

I opened the tent this morning and sat, stared, and took slow deep breathes. There was nothing more to do than to just relax and enjoy!
I was expecting to start flush on White Berry, and give final feed to the Atomical Haze, but both pots were still a bit heavy, so I have the day off til tomorrow!
I may chop the Sensi Star over the weekend, still playing it by ear. I'm toying with the idea of moving her to the drying tent to spend a day or so in darkness before chopping.
All the ladies have varying degrees of amber trichs. I think its going to be a busy week next week, so just going to get the last minute "relax" in while I can

good morning snarley,daaaam those girls look beautiful and close to the chopping block when do ya think will be the big day that sensi star i want to try some of that lol,so i harvested my last one the glue all chopped up and washed the nodes were so close i couldnt get the snips in between i had to kinda chop at it this plant was 17in tall not a bad harvest from such a little one anyway you have a nice day of growing and take care of those girls!

Very nice harvest, tight looking colas. I see some good smoke sessions in your future
Sensi will be harvested any day now, playing it by ear, trying to get the trichs to just the right balance. Hoping 10% amber trichs on the bud for the Sensi to try to balance out the couchlock

Thanks, all the info from here is great. We have also started growing bag seed outside, so we will need to wash them ones ( but don't think we will do any washing on the indoor lady's
