Good Saturday morning friends. ;)
Awesome weather today, sunny and up in the high 70's.
Started flush on Ms B and the Atomical Haze. Both are showing amber trichs on the buds. Still not sure when I will be chopping the Sensi Star. Thinking about leaving her in the dark in the dryng tent for 24-48 hours, just want to do a bit more research to see why I should do this :)

Day 59 :) If I were you I would be so eager to cut them down by now. All mine are supposed to be finished after 60 days of bloom (Strangely enough all my strains have been finished around there plus minus a week) Thinking of growing some slower flowering strains in the future though. Now is all about building up a buffer stock of cannabis so I could just put everything away if needed for at least a year. That means I need a lot of cannabis and I believe we're gonna get there in the end :)
 
Hi Snarly. By the time I read through this you are almost done. That atomical haze looks amazing ( as do all your girls ). I think I like the look of dark bud. Crazy place over here. Lots of fun and crazy people

I still have a couple jars of curing bud from last harvest, so that makes it easier to wait. The Sensi Star will either be chopped in a day or two, or put in the drying tent for 24 hours dark before chopping. Haven't decided yet.
The theory of the 24-48 hours of dark causing the buds to draw resin from the plant sounded good until I noticed that a lot of people that recommend the dark cycle have defoliated almost all fan leaves. So where is it going to draw from. The fan leaves are the factories.
But since I am not a fan of heavy defoliation, I may just try the dark period for 24 hours, at least if the theory works, the factories are still there!
I am trying to build up a buffer stock as well (I like how you put that), so I label some mason jars with the strain name, and the harvest date, then put them away where they can't be easily reached lol. I think it would be cool to roll a fatty on the 1 year anniversary of harvest.

Thanks vesp. The cam is just a cheap point and shoot I got off Kijiji (similar to craigslist). Paid $65 and it does the job for now. The White balance is pretty good, but I lose a bit of the "fall colors". It is nice, though, to be able to point and shoot with the LEDs blasting away lol. If I catch the photography bug again, I'll consider getting a decent DSLR and some good lenses.

Not regular lighting, it's the White Balance setting from the camera. LEDs were on as usual. I used the white covering of the scrubber for calibrating. Close enough for an amateur LOL. :high-five:
