Yo, sorry for the late reply, I didn't realize y'all had posted...

I WAS foliar feeding with a MILD solution (10% solution) of liquid seaweed for the first 2-3 weeks of vegetative period. But, after talking with Cherma (from an earlier post):

I have used Seaweed for nearly 30 years in various forms, as I can go right down to the Ocean and pick it a low tides. However, I would like to caution that foliar feeding with Seaweed in Flowering can be detrimental at times. I stopped using Seaweed as a foliar feed in bud, and only use it during Veg, as an additive. while using a bud fertilizer aloing with Seaweed combined may and can LOCK OUT certain trace elements of your "P" this can cause a " Avrigated" coloring of yellow streaks. I will see if I can dig up my old pics showing this situation. In an enclosed area such as yours, Foliar Feeding in Bud may cause moisture to be retained inside the buds, that can lead to a mold situation. Just a note and sharing my experience with you. They look fantastic. - Cherma

And, since you can only feed them so many times (once) per week it makes it easier to just pour a stronger (100%) solution (capful to a gallon) to their usual feedings and/or waterings.

I just spray them with R/O pH'd water @ about 6.1 every night really, really well to clean their leaves off. The bigger they get, the more water you'll use.

UPDATE: Day 12 Flowering Stage; Day 49 Overall

they are filling in that space really well.

Thanks four20friend!

Now, I've got some bad news. FOUR of my SIX plants were male, so now I only have two females left. I'm currently debating on whether or not I should clone these females for a future crop. Other life issues are currently pending so I'm not really able to commit to a few more months of gardening just yet.

The good news is that the two ladies are doing very well and their growth has just skyrocketed. I fed them their first flowering nute feeding last night:

1.5 tsp FF Tiger Bloom
2 Tbsp FF Big Bloom
1 capful of liquid seaweed per 1 gallon of water
pH'd at 5.2 before pouring into soil, pH out of soil measures at 6.2

I'll get some pics up tonight, they've grown a lot.

Day 19 - Flowering Stage

Thanks McBudz - it's all good with the two ladies. I can give each of them much more attention!

My two remaining ladies are now in their early stages of flowering and seem to be doing pretty well. I was surprised at the sudden growth spurt of both plants, I'm glad my height isn't severely limited.

I've been watering them every three or four days and I've been feeding them Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, and Liquid Seaweed (through soil, not foliar).

I tied the branches apart slightly since I have almost 4' X 4' to stretch 'em out, this should allow more light to hit those buds. The branches from the topped region of the plant have really skyrocketed to a ridiculous heights on one of the plants. I think on my next grow I'm gonna try some Humboldt stacker or gravity fertilizer to see if that'll help with the internodal spacing. My light was right on top of that plant, too.

Oh, I also created a total of 12 clones from both plants. Starting from seeds is fun, but getting stuck with four guys in a batch of six sucks ass. So far the clones are doing well, I'll have to snap a photo of them later, it's only been a couple of days.

I've uploaded images of the plants to my album here - check 'em out when you get a chance!

Looking good.
The buds are forming up nicely.

Thanks Pan4!

I took a longer-than-anticipated visit to your journals and was impressed with the creativity and approach you take when growing marijuana. Thanks for exploring the possibilities! :)

Cheers,

Yes, that's a 5-gallon water jug in front of the plants...just in case you were lookking for a size reference.

From a slightly different angle...

Super reporting on your grow. I will be looking forward to your final report on yield and quality. Looking good.

Getting down to the good stuff :)

I would bend the branches over and outward as they stretch up and and keep the light close for better penetration and overall bud consistency. I really liked my results when I went with horizontal colas. All the buds grew perpendicular of the stem and ended up all being similar density and potency. This current go around I did not have enough room to do that. Looks like you do though so just throwing that out there. Good growing!!

Exactly McBudz, it's kinda surreal to see my plants look like others plants have in the past. Sounds corny, but it's like a dream coming true (very slowly), now I'm eager for Day 60+ flowering...that's when they look really juicy.

Thanks for the tips, I did kinda bend them out already, to allow the light to penetrate the inner buds. I'll do it again with more exaggeration.

I've also got some clones goin' on...pics coming soon. I cloned them on Friday, March 6th, so it's almost been a full week. I cloned 12, lost 2 already, I'm hoping for a batch of 6 or 7, I think I'll keep one as a mother then start some "Blueberry Kush Jelly" (I think, I'll confirm the strain name later) from seed while these clones flower.

It's all fallin' together - what a great hobby!

wow, this is such a Beautiful process
I am envious in the best way

Good Job breh

hey man, beautiful work indeed. I recently purchased 10 seeds of white widdow from amsterdam, and i was wondering can i use a bunch of fluorescent tubes to grow them, and maybe half the time outdoor half in? and that fan... its a regular fan just circulating the air? Ive grown a few plants outdoor with no efforts from my side at all and of course they were random seeds.

Re: Day 16

Is that fan muzzler quite??? i really need to get 1 hey dude check my LST'ing out i bought them of ebay for around £7:00 worth every penny aswell lol. Also set-up is sweet i wish i'd gotten the cooled light as i got the 600HPS and heat is extreme lol nahh just exagerating lol. Hey hear it is pic LST'ing and there called Bendz.
