I might dispute that, pinching and topping are the same.

What you are describing is supercropping.

Yes i agree with you hash hound after doing a little more research ..and yes what i describe what pinching is ..is supercropping aswell ..a good friend of mine and a med grower for 20 + years had shown me this a while back ..he refered to it as " pinching " now to me pinching and supercropping are the same but topping is its own thing in my opinion ..now i see that topping and pinching are different but all in all you get basically the same outcome with ur plants growing more tips and getting bushier ..if iam wrong please correct me ..its just what i learned over the years any opinions would be greatly appreciated

My latest experiment

experimenting on cloning a 3 week 12/12 WW bud

Last summer I tried this on a Cheese and it grew to many branches to count.
I'm hoping this will do the same ending up short and bushy instead of tall and lanky.
I am guessing 2+ weeks before roots, transplant/veg 4? more, ready to replace mama.

Klone King dropped off a clone of the infamous WW he has kept alive by clone of clone for 6 years 24hs cfl's.
They grow fast once they take off, but stretch way to much ending with big node spacing.
even a few scrogs of her ended up out of control.

here's the 6 week old clone he brought

and after potting and cloning

heres the proud mama donor 3 weeks flowering

i picked a small tender one

in a rapid rooter upside down, more stable

hopefully I'll be showing off the results in a few weeks

She's going for one more week!!!!

UPDATE!! 4WEEKS flower

So the girls are coming along nicely they just started week 4 of flowering.
The humidity here is ridiculous as we have had a couple of weeks of constant down pours, so my humidity is high 85% - 90%. Heading down to buy a dehumidifier. Temps have been ideal now the summer is cooling off, temps around 24c too of 32c lights on...

I have lollipoped my random bean and took off most the tiny popcorn bud sites...

The AK Auto has stopped drinking again, this time I know why. She hates being bashed, I accidentally kinda took off a tiny pop corn bud just to see how she would go and now she's drowning her self...
She will bounce back quick and strong like last time...

UPDATE on my girls!!! Well they are now officially women!!! lol finally showing their first hairs. Will be a week tomorrow that I flipped them to 12/12. Super excited ..
