For what I've read, above 21 C starts the risk of root rot. Are you confident 24+ C water will not generate nasty surprises? Also, how old are the girls now?

I checked the temps of the water last night with a hoskins thermometer. Labratory grade it was 21. Yes i encountered some rot last time but i have a few aces up my sleeve this time . They are one month from popping.

Thanks!! Just so unforgiving and i find that everything looks like everything when it comes to deficiencies and problems with growth, hard to diagnose. I think im going to go full strenght on nutes in a few days with my next change. You will see why with my next update.

Hello all

Not too many changes on the war front today...rather last night. Piper is opening up and putting on some girth to her leaves. Ill post all the pics after...trying on my tab but itwont pop open the pics window to embed them....tech ugh...
Jacinda's infliction of the fan leaves is slowled down but not stopped. As stated in previous post..ive got an ace up my sleve for that one. If this doesnt help with the new fan leaves that come out as the internodal growth seems to be unaffected...(lack of nutes?) At this point all i can do is apply this treatment and see what happens and move foreward. As the new growth seems to be fine at this point i decided to give her another top/fim kinda liking the mystery of whats gonna pop up after its done. Molly's haircut is healed and there is a closeup of that...looking good
Ill give a more comprehensive update in a few days. Give some time for growth and healing and hopefully some kinda wow factor lol...well see what happens. I noticed some browning on the roots aswell whichis why i checked res temperaturs...im sure after today i shouldnt have to worry too much about the underbelly of the beast.

Hello again everyone
Pipers roots were starting to go in on themselves in the cup so i had to transplant. She is now in a 3q pot and looking happy. Gave her 750ml watering with 1 ml each voodoo pirhana and tarantula and b52. Watered outside edges and now the pot has a bealty weight to it.

With the addition of those beneficials i figured a other airstone in each res wouldnt be a bad idea. I really like the turbulance now.

Heres the root situation. Looking ok but im hoping to see some new white ones coming out in the next few days !?! *fingers crossed*

Heres the topside. Looking a lot happier to me. Grosth has seemed to have picked back up aswell. Definately happy with the turnaround over the las few days

Ive added a couple of hygrometers around the tent from homedepot and a thermometer to compare to my digital one over the next few days but both of the new ones read higher. Ill be installing new light hangers on lights off when i get the chance in the coming days.

Hello everyone....been busy and there is qUite a bit that has changed so ill get right too it as i hope your all anxious to see the development.

I have done some lst training with the other two..before i left for a couple days. Dropped the ph to 5.3 before i took off and this is what i came home to.

As i lifted the basket top and check roots...new ones coming in are nice and white!

Jacinda had also pulled back up from her stick down before i left...heres a closer look at her.

Molly is nuat filling out as i cut a couple fan leaves off that were blocking node light.

After reapplying the ever pursuasive duct tape to her...jacinda is down cor the count once again.

Im going to trim a few of the tiny chutes off tomorrow below the majority of the canopy. Ill post a few pics of what they look like after the trimmin'.

Hello again all.
So.. As for the trifecta of rootzone additives...i am definately not regretting that purchase. Roots have exploded and are pearl white. The plants overall health seems to be boosted aswell. My lux meter came in and i played with it a bit last night. I could lower the light a bit to get more out of them so i will be doing that tonight. I didnt lower it because of the supercropping that i did the day affer trimming up the bottom nodes. Ill be doing a water change this weekend and ramping up the nutes to around 1k ppm (currently 650-700) i will also be adding the beneficials again and will probably continue them for a few weeks into flower aswell. They say to add only in first two weeks of each cycle but ima go an extra week or so. Now a question for the experienced. Given my current lineup...would you add rhinoskin or carboload into the mix for flowering? I would like to get one more but unsure of which one. Please gimmie all your thoughts on that one.
Onto the porn. Sorry no upskirt shots today...maybe this weekend with the res change.

Jacinda and Molly. Would like to get that upto 350 and above so i will tinker tonight with the light to see if its possible. (x100 in the reading so around 30k lux given 7% margain of error in reading as per manufacturer)

Heres a couple of the supercropping. I have a feeling that they are gonna be hard to keep a handle on shortly. Once i give em a good nuking they should explode.

They are growing up so fast!

Hello everyone!

Was a good week and a lot of growth happened. I cleaned the room prior to the resevoir change to mitigate contaminatesl. Heres the recipe before flower. (wasnt that dirty at all ) Here is the recipe for the last change before flower.
35ml grow...20ml micro....10ml bloom.....10ml B-52....15ml Cal/Mag....10ml budcandy (for benificials) 20ml each tarantula pirhana and voodoo juice. That came out to E.c. 2.4 or 1200ppm


Lets get right to it. Everyone is looking happy although piper seems to be a lil hot. I moved her back to t-5 room and ill slowly climitize her to the HID.

Jacinda is doing awesome. Lots of bushing and did she ever fight off the supercropping. Broke her 4 main stems and within 5 hrs she was back up...had to be pursuaded further.

Molly is just a stout lil thing but she may prove to be troublesome in flower wih such tight growth. Almost half the size of her sister.

Roots are doing a lot better now. Ive given them another dose of the beneficials and will be dropping that down once i go into flower. Currently i gave them 20ml of each. Ill drop that to 10ml once i flip them for a few weeks and thats it! Lets see whats happned down there.

Looking good girls. I took a couple upskirt shots as promised...manipulating a phone into the canopy is no easy task but...where theres a will.....theres a way!!

Jacinda was first and i really like that 4 way branch as its pretty close to one node whereas molly is clearly 2 nodes that grew up.

Ill give another update in a few days once the resevoirs stabilize.

Aannnnndddd were back!!!

Well we have quite the progress since the last time....so let me lay it out for you. Jacinda is doing awesome!! Lush growth and loves fighting the duct tape!! Molly is just as resiliant to her tie downs but not there in height at all..had to boost her up with a couple 2x4s to even out the canopy.

Now...as for the underbelly of the beast which fuels the high octane growth in a dwc system.....
Just checking the ph once a day and adjusting 2-3 hrs after lights on back down to 5.5 ~ 5.6 range and allowing drift for the day this is what i've achieved.

Piper is coming along nicely aswell. She was very light so i gave her 500ml water at 6.5 ph and shes gonna go under the mh for a while. Very nice development in her aswell...another tough one me thinks.

After the usual routine of checkups and adjustments i gave them both another adjustment spreading the canopy open to encourage growth as i plan to flip to flower this weekend. I cant be fighting 5ft beasts again lol. Ill come at you all mid week sometime with another update as it is pretty much on auto pilot for the most part..

Hello again all...
I know im a lil bit late on the update but rl getting in the way... So lets get at it. Heres the hydro twins hanging out. (all pics from wednesday)

Ph and Rh have been steady at the 5.6 range as i adjust it everyday and Rh constant around 50%

Now...piper is doing well, although she is definately not growing as fast as the hydro twins. I gave her a good beating this week. Heres a before and after shot.

Think i may try a mainline with her...but not sold yet...well see what happens...i also did a lil experiment with some root stim on her...supposed to be for rooting a cutting but figured it may work like some root boosters...well see what happens at pot up time

Ive noticed over the last couple weeks that her stems are bulking up...lets see how big they are getting

Ive started lollypopping them as i had a plethera of popcorn lastime that was such a waste...not that it was bad, but i would rather that in the main colas. They also responded very well to trimming the lower foliage. The tops seemed to get a lil vigor boost and shoot up.

Molly is still plodding on...slow steady low and very busy...im starting to get a little worried about the development...i thought there would have been some stretch by now but hopefully she is just waiting for the magic moment Its really tricky to get in and trim her as everything is sooo close. The scalpel helps with this immensely.

Thats one thing im not liking about the soil is you cant tell where your at with roots.. Anyo e have any tricks to know when you should buy her a new pair of shoes? I have a couple small small roots at the bottom drainage hole but none around the edges...lemme know please! And thanks in advance. Its resevoir change today so i will be giving them a transitional feeding. Ill let you all know what i do when that update is posted. Thats about all for now...ill be comi v at you all in the next few days for the transition update.

Ok folks...the time has come...i know you have all been waiting for. I gave them a final hair cut before the switch...giving them a few days recovery and then...its on! So lets get at it.

Heres the lovely ladies before their hair appointment.

Now...this was very awkward as it just felt wrong..but i have seen the results so why not...about an hr later and many cuts...on me aswell...TIP watch your scalpel!!

I gave them a res change aswell last night..they got 20ml of grow. 30ml each of micro and bloom. 5ml b52 15ml cal/mag and 30ml each voodoo pirhana and tarantula. Good for a transition mix.

Now onto piper....im experimenting with her..im taking off every fan leaf that comes out after the shoot has some growth and leaves are out. Im hoping this will encourage nodal growth. This is how she looks.

Gave her a feeding too. 500ml water witb 1ml each nutrient across the board...no additives yet. Anxious to pot her up to see waht that root stim powder did. And heres a bonus.. I need you all to count and post how many blades are on this leaf...i was a lil bit in awe.

Ill come at you all this weekend with an update as ill be busy with work.

Hello all...so as life has it i hit a lil hiccup with switchover...super busy this week and didnt get a chance to make the proper arrangements. With that being said....the last water change my ppm was around 1400 and that was dialed down...so i came into abut 3 maybe 4 litres of water in the resevoir...that was from 11...imagine the nuking they got...however this is how they looked which surprised me.

So i abruptly topped it off with some fresh water. My well water comes out at 6.0 mark so i didnt bother adjusting as it would drop due to the amount of nutes in there anyway. I did more trimming as they were more dense with leaves than the pic. I came across a beast of a fan leaf...you guys tell me how many you see

Im hoping they are happy as to the number of fingers developing and not some kind of stress reaction. Hopefully this week i will make the flip when i have a few hrs free to get it all in order.
I will do an update that day...untill then.......looking on the up and up

Hello everyone!!

Great news the flip has commenced. I had time to organize and setup last week. Ut no time to update..so here it is. Temps and ph are nominal around the 5.5-6.0 mark. Daily adjusted to 5.5 a couple hours after their alarm goes off. I am going on day 6 tonight. I gave them a rez top up after i checked the ppm i was down to 600! Wow they are hungry. I mixed up some fresh nutes and tbis is the batch. 10L has.....20ml grow. 30ml micro. 35ml bloom. 10ml nirvana. 20ml budcandy. 10ml big bud. 10ml of b-52. 20ml each of pirhana, tarantula, and voodoo juice. This will be my last application of the bennies for these sexy ladies. Lets get to some visuals.

As you can see they are happy and doing well. I have a trimming scheduled in a couple weeks or a lollypopping as its called. In veg i couldnt believe how well the responded so hopefully the same in this stage

Now onto the underbelly...looking very nice if i do say so....

Jacinda has a notibly bigger root mass than molly however i feel she is gonna give some nice monkey c****!! I have het to mark the wood for measurement increments.

I recharges my lil co2 generators as i got 14 days out of the last batch. There is some controversy over these home made ones and all i can say is that they work. Maybe not wonders but definately noticeable growth. The last pic is a forest shot of molly...love the spacing. Im excited to see what happens with her. Untill next time..
