Double your pleasure 1/2 the fun?

It's hard to say.... Just fix the problem and keep an eye out for any changes that may show themselves... Glad you got it figured out before any more damage was done...:ganjamon:

Yes .. I already fix the problem and will be on the watch to see if, I screwed my other plants up! Can't wait till I get to the point where I can till something is off by looking at things. Thanks again

I figured out 1 thing today, I gonna learn whatever it takes to start growing hydro from this point on! I'm sick of having problems with finding good potting soil for my plants especially at this time of year. I'm tired of dealing with soil in everyway looking for it disposing of the old, mixing what needed for the new I am going to start by purchasing everyting I need as far as meters. Anyone with suggestions on systems to start out with, or just to give a few pointers along the way will be welcome. This is day 1 on starting to learn everything I can as soon as I can!

A good intro to passive hydro for me has been using perlite and hydroton also you could check out Docs grow if your not already familiar with it, for ideas possibly on how to get into passive hydro...
Doc's Hempy
Then there is the vet growers that smoke the forums with ebb and flows and water farms....my next venture will be with water farms.....complete set up for one plant is around 40 bucks. There is countless growers here that have soil grows and some of the nicest plants i have ever seen ....but for me soil had a lot of problems...when i am done with it what do i do with it lol i have no yard...and so on....just saw your last post and thought this might help....now going back to read your journal from beginning :passitleft:

You won't regret doing something like a hempy bucket, or Tunes420's version of it. A big bag of perlite weighs nothing, same with vermiculite. But I would caution you about working with it dry indoors. Once it's in the pot and moistened, no problem....but the dust is nasty. You'll have to mix up your medium outside. When the grow is over, just dump everthing into a big "Hempy" bag----(plastic trash bag with used perlite in it) and carry it out to the dumpster one handed.

Hempy buckets could not be more simple...and I am a total novice and they work for me....so well I'm going to harvest something halfway decent, in spite of all sorts of problems.

Give it a try.

Thanks Doc and Tunes I just read Doc's entire journel start to finish, was just doing the same with Tunes current journel, did some google searches and found a 6 pot auto pot system just around $ 200.00 complete I believe that this is the way of my future, it comes with a 12.5 gallon reservoir I love the idea, just going to do more homework on it, collect the proper testing meters, and place my order on the auto pot system in a month or so I need to finish of what I have going on right now. I have at least 3 months more to go with current grows. Plenty of time to do the homework and gather everything need to hit the ground running. Much thanks to both of you!

It happen again I have had another one of my plant hermie on me, just yanked it and keeping my fingers crossed that thats the end of it. So frustrating to care for them for so long and have this happen I'm down to 4 plants in my group1 plants they are only a couple of weeks from being finished and going hermie because of light tight issue I had.

I harvested my Group 1 plants they were 59 days into flowering and I didn't want to chance, anything else going wrong. Plus I need the space for my group 2 plants. I'm stoked that when it's dry out I have some smoke I grew myself! So heres my bud porn for my fist completed grow!!! Thanks to everyone who offered support.

ok so now that I have my first harvest under my belt I am going to try to ring the bell this time. Just moved my group 2 plants into new home under 1 400wat Mh light have it up high to start, will lower it down, a little each day to get them use to it as they have been under floros and cfl's till now, soon as they get a custom the light I will add another light to the space, and go for high gear. these kids are also from bag seed, different bag... they are doing really good right now, I did top them once about a week ago, will probally do it again next week. There are 13 from the orignal group of 18. I plan to veg them at least another month. I am going to clone them before I send them into flower, and will take a mother from the group.

Explosion of growth, is the only way to say it, since I put these kids under 650 watts of MH lights. Just feel like they need more light! Have notice a few leaves yellowing, on lower branches, looking like nitrogen def, so I gave them a feeding of Alaska Fish fert. Thinking I am gonna have to transplant them soon, but first things first, more light, gonna add some cfl's to the closet.

I couldn't stand it anymore, I finally broke off, a small piece off of 1 of my buds and spark it up, great buzz nice heady high :headbanger: very pleased with the results of my efforts:Rasta:

In planning for transplanting these kids from group2 the last group of this journel, today I flushed them good will let sit over night, and transplant them into 3 gallon buckets to finish them. There are looking great lots of new growth, raising the lights just about eveyday. After I transplant them I will let them veg for another 2 weeks, then into flower cycle.

I had to change my plans, had such an explosion of growth this week with these babies that I have desides to send them to flower now so that I can sort out the females frm the males, and gain some space, I'm quickly running out of space. I guess this is a great problem to have, and if things keep going like this I am going to have to upgrade everything and build a new grow rooms in my basement.
I am going to pick 1 of my females and send it back to veg and use it as a mother plant, I know folks, don't normally do it this way, and like to cloning for determining the sex but space is really become an issue, for me.

They have grown about 6 inches in the past week, and are from 24 to 30 inches tall now, the closet is 30" by 8' with a height of 8' the height won't be a problem its the foot print they are using.

Hey legal thanks for stopping by, yeah if they keep going like this, they will be hugh, I have them under 2 M/H 1 400 watt and 1 250, I have a 1000 watt sodium that I will put on them soon as they show me the boys from the girls, and transplant them in to larger buckets. Believe it or not the plotting soil their in is recycled soil from the last group, when I transplanted them, I did this because I was getting frustrated with finding decent potting soil but add a root stimulator to them when I transplanted them with a 20% nute dose.

This is the time of a grow that drives me nuts the wait for them to show their sex, to find out who's who. It has to be the longest part of anyones grow! Girls :cheer:Girls :cheer:I want Girls :cheer:

Totally amazed is the only way for me to discribe it of 13 plants 6 have shown themselves to be female, only 5 days into flower cycle, the others haven't shown yet, but looks like I'm going to have my hands full.
