Fat Neil's Winter Grow CKS Candy Cane Autos In Coco

Coming along! Looks like they blew thru the seedling stage!

Looking great! Maybe I missed it somewhere but just wondering what nutrients you are using?
Using green planet. I was told their 3 part can be used interchangeably with GH 3 part.

They are currently getting 4.5 ml cal mag, 20ml root builder, 6ml grow, 4ml micro, 1ml bloom. Oh I also gave them 5ml of terpinator just for fun. All measurements per gallon

Tried tying down 3 and 4. The other two seem too thin and frail. I dunno

And surprise...

Cc4 Day 1

Popped my last candy cane auto bean when I wasn't sure about the mutant. Had just enough coco left to fill a 1 gallon. We'll see what I can get from her.

Looking good Neil! They'll be bushes in no time!

Is growing in Coco something I should wait a bit to try? I'm on my first grow and after I move my seedlings to final pots I'm going to need to get more soil. I've been reading up on Coco and it seems to be a great medium but I don't want to get to far ahead of myself. The hydro shop that I can go too has Fox Farms Coco Loco would that be a step in the right direction?

I started with coco and had quite a few issues my first grow but I imagine that happens for any medium on your first time. Been pretty smooth since. I like it, very easy with drain to waste. Maybe give it a try next grow. You might like it.

Never seen that brand before but I'm sure it's fine.

Coco Loco isn't really a full coco. Its kind of a mix between coco and soil. It has some of the nutrients in it that can be found in soil and it stays damp better than straight coco. I love using Coco Loco for seedlings.

I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are thinking about going straight coco grows.
