First Journal & Grow

Hi everyone! This is my first grow n I hope it's doing well. Trying hard to get it perfect!

So today is day 10 of my grow.
Temp 24.3c
Humidity 30 pct
Lighting 59 watts per square foot in a 8 foot square tent. One 308w draw led n another 171w draw light

I have been watering every two days or if the soil looks dry! No nutes yet. I added a humidifier because this morning when checking said it was low no actual reading was displayed. For some reason though the humidity will not pass 30pct. I have it in front of the fan so it blows the humidity across the plants.
Hopefully these look ok.
The strain is White widow. I'm not sure how they should look this far in of they should be bigger or more leaves? Looking online it looks like it's different for everyone and these are not auto flower.
Any advice is appreciated!
@West Hippie

Number one killer of the plants is over watering. Remember these are weeds we are growing. We want the plants to go search for it , expanding the root system.

Hello there, welcome to the JIP! What size pots are those babies in? Watering volume when they are babies means just damp enough, imagine the root zone developing one day at a time. Once the root zone(usually 14 days in a solo cup) is established then water to runoff. Many people elect to use a spray bottle in the early weeks. Good luck! Best hobby to have! Cheers!

I made my first noob mistake once I saw the tap root coming out of the seedling out I put them in a 5 gallon. I'll know better for next time!!
Thank you for the welcome!

Here are the beauties at 1 week 4 days. I hope they are growing ok never done this before
Temp 24c
Humidity 40 pct ( I have tried everything but can't get it any higher)

Don't really have anything to compare it to and one of them seems to be slower n not as long as the other one

The skinny is they are healthy. Are they a bit small for the age? Maybe a little. Will it matter? Probably not since they're photoperiods. Ideal conditions as you know means more humidity in veg, 50% to 70%, 75 to 85F. I also did not read what your using for medium, any nutes in the medium? I live in a dry climate, my rH is about 50% outside my tents, so in Veg I have to add a humidifier on an InkBird controller. If humidity gets too high, exhaust fan kicks on shared on the same controller. I run the Temperature controller as well. Looks like overwatering a tad too, the soil will look different when dry. The watering for that size is about 3 or 4 shot glass fulls. Patience is the only way to grow! Cheers!

Thanxs for the reply
I'm using pro mix herb n garden. No nutes yet I haven't watered since Wednesday. I just can't seem to get my humidity post 40 pct I have a humidifier going and a exhaust because the lights heat up the tent to like 33c with the fan on I get about 24c. I'm going to try to turn it down a tad see if that improves things a bit for humidity!

Use your smallest light only. when the plants are a foot tall they need more light. For instance I started with 4 Mars units, each one draws 135watts from wall. I used one light for the first 2 weeks for about 9 plants, then add one(after another week), then another(week), and save the big one for flower of possible. Which I added a 315-CMH for flower! You could literally grow these babies in the house, no tent under an LED shop light. You will get it! Cheers!

Temperature and humidity are linked. Every temperature rise of 10°C (18°F) doubles the water carrying capacity of the air. That means that when air with an RH of 60% at a temperature of 20°C is heated to 30°C, the RH will drop to 30%.

I'd keep your environment controls where they are, and put a humidity dome over the plants until the fourth or fifth set of leaves appear. You can make one yourself by cutting the top off of a clear pop bottle. Cut a small hole (3/8" or 10mm) in the bottom (now the top), and a couple of them low on the sides for a little air circulation.

Well here we are week 2 1 day looking good I think.
Only thing is my second smaller plant has a bit of yellow tips but I haven't changed anything n my other one is fine and being treated the same I'm watering every three to four days, so I'm unsure why? It has picked up on growth though!

Now three weeks 5 days.

It seems to be growing a little bit faster. I'm hoping I can get it full grown and ready to harvest by June 20th cause I have to leave town and go to the US for my sons graduation from Marine Boot Camp. The first to picture are the one that took off from seed n the last two pics are of the shower growing plant!

So I'm now going into week 6. Maybe it's me but seems rather slow growing. I'm hoping I can start footing in 12 weeks send far away and I have never find this
The first plant is about 14 inches high n the second is about 8-9 inches. It's been soow right from the start. Just wondering if they sound like they are where they should be?
