First time grower question

Hello all,

Glad I found this place... I have my first grow going I think ok , I have multiple strains in the tent, growing in soil, advanced nutrients micro grow and bloom.

My question is I have a Lowrider almost at the end of flower, some brown pistals are starting but how long should I expect to wait until trichs are cloudy to harvest?

Do you have a loupe or other device to look closely at the trichomes?

Yes I have a loupe but I don’t see any trich glands that are visible to my eyes lol, just wondering if there is a guesstimate, I have a microscope coming tomorrow....

Yeah like Tom said, you’ve got a while to go!! judging by that picture. What we’re you told the flowering time is on that strain? Or is it an auto?

Sorry yes an Auto, by the breeder info it says 45 days and I am at day 40 tomorrow, thx for all your replies

Ok. Breeder info is kind of general sometimes and will run long or short. You're looking a bit long I think. Check out some journals and see a plant grow from start to finish. I scroll and stop at the pic updates and read around there.

I recently grew out a LowRyder#2 - it went for 99 days,and still had very little amber-if that bud pic is the LowRyder,you've got a long ways to go...

Hi,NA- That one started flowering at 21 days, so she was 78 days in flower when that pic was taken--that pic was like an hour before harvest-she actually could have went longer,but she was tired of waiting,and popped out a few male flowers the day before,so I took that as a "sign"...
