Yeah same. High school was a long time ago haha. Cookieman seems like he knows what he's talking about though. If the cubic metres is worked out by simply multiplying the dimensions it works out to be 0.6m³ which sounds tiny to me... If it actually is small, shouldn't take much to get it full of co2

Thats beautiful, man. One of best perks of hydro is being able to see your big, glorious, white root system. Switching to hydro has given me an all new appreciation for the growth down below as well as the always celebrated green growth up top.

While I wait for my new equipment to start testing, I decided to up my fermenting. In an 11L sealed bucket I put a mix of 4L water, 1kg sugar and 1 Tablespoon of yeast to keep it simple for my metric mind. I also moved things over to my mini fridge as the temperatures were reading cooler in there. Wanted to see if it was the lights making the other warmer, which I think was a bit of it but also is naturally cooler environment. Now the grow room space has become even smaller I have to assume they're receiving a pretty hefty dosage of co2.

I also eagerly await results anthocyanin, I'm a bit of a bull at a gate when I get into something so it's killing me waiting.

Nothing appears to be wrong with anything so now I'm bored. Co2 meter was marked as sent on eBay so that's good news lol

Here's a photo of whole setup this morning. I have to soak towels and hang from rungs to keep humidity up but other then that everything runs itself now.

The co2 bike cylinders arrived today. Not very exciting as I'm still waiting for co2 meter but I tried one out and it seems as though I can make it release slowly, but would love to know what sort of reading it creates and how long it sustains it for.. I guess the waiting just continues...

I got bored today while the kids watched ice age. Thought I'd share my thoughts on an improved, stealthy as heck fridge setup. the root chamber up top for flowering will have a sloped bottom and a water run off that will return back to the res in bottom.

Also I'd make a way to block off the bottom from top for different light cycles

The picture I drew? Would only be dwc if the bottom veg plants roots reached the res I suppose. It's more like an aero/ebb and flow I guess? I'll let the chamber on the top flowering plant drain back into res so the roots still get oxygen. Not sure how well it would work but would be a fun project nonetheless. I'm all about filling time. Don't want to compromise my current fridge though. Maybe in the future.

Sprayed the kids with a milk spray today. Looked as though some mildew was forming, as the interwebs suggested. They still look healthy to me despite this and the bright green (you can't tell from the picture) roots that are growing healthy white roots from it? Should I be worried? Or should I just fucking wait? Haha
