Gorilla Breath, Kwazulu, Bag Seed & Autos

i wish parnelli, that one was 24 to 30 inches away. boron def comes to mind...dunno yet.
Hello Yogi, new here, great looking bud porn!! I’m throwing in my.02 on the leaf.
If not an environmental cause, my experience has been running down to 6.0 has led to some nute lock issues in my soil grows. I’m pretty tight around 6.5 to 6.7 now. I was guided there by the gardening centers guy who probably runs coco. I used to run hydro so I used to run lower too.
What do you think about Molybdenum? I need to get one of those charts printed and put in my garden! Maybe that strain is just a touch more sensitive than the others to the condition it’s under now?
Hope someone more intelligent than I can chime in to help. Good Luck on your grow, looking great to me! Keep those beautiful pictures coming!

hi Inky66 welcome! yes the moly thought came up, sure looks like a nute lockout and ive def hit 5.8 6.2 ph in my set up before. Am going to buy distilled water, flush like mad and wait to see a reponse preferably a good response. Also it is in a 1 liter so hardly a nutrition rich environment... might transplant to a two gallon I've other plants and room to experiment.
When i grow my ginger plants i tend to inundate the soil w volcanic rock so as to replicate soil where it originate from, perhaps similarly prep would prevent this, dunno yet.
I put the lst lemon grape outside for cold weather color treatment so ive a lot more room in the tent for goofing around now.

afternoon how are you? slow week just a few jobs done and none scheduled till next week. not an issue glad for the rest period and time to garden.
first up, seeds are on the way! kwazulu and kwazulu x lemon grape (grapezulu)

meanwhile the neighbors are having their home tented for bugs so outdoor lem grape is inside for a few days as from the roof you can view my yard and need no curious eyes It does crimp the plans a bit for what's in the veg room as there is no room at the inn so to speak, till Friday.
20210104_151327.jpg

a full house, so happy.
the non pollinated plants are blowing my mind and i really think its the light as much as genetics. They started exhibiting buds 26 days ago, none of my previous efforts have looked like this. usually it's half the size it's at now. You guys probably hit the mark quite consistently but untill now unless it was outdooors my bud yeild was mediocre 8 xs out of 10.
kwazulu w at least 5 weeks to go

couple of morning shots of lemon grape before going back inside.
once the tent crew is done the golden child that is the lst l grape goes back out for cold color treatment.
20210104_081123.jpg

had one of my contractors drop off some White Buffalo so i could take a break from the Blue Dream and my, what a change of pace that is. highly recommend a bowl or two if in your circle of reach.
the Hula Dancer in veg is really branching out and will be cutting for clones this week. Meanwhile ive chosen the lemon grape clone to veg long under lst.( seen in the group shot lying down in the front at about the same angle it will be transplanted at)

the rest - kwazulu, lg and g breath and hula dancer clones (when ready) will be popped into 2 gallon containers (7.571 liters for my S Africans gardeners) and sent to flower the best they can. i want to wrap up the whole shebang jar it up and pursue some options that take time and energy, mainly business wise and as well some pleasure in the hotrod n custom scene as a few projects sit on the back burner. Might even sell the house this year for some profit taking. Besides this could hold a family, I've none and don't need all the space just land to garden and a cottage while i still have some ass left on me to throw into the work lol. but thats just idle talk till it happens but the goal is to flower it all out, harvest seeds and wrap it up. Besides been attending daily since almost March various grows and running a business and running the home. fucking pooped ay? lol.
cheers.

Yogi, I noticed you adding a tincture to morning coffee - I'm making my first tincture and have read it needs to steep for as long as 4 weeks for max potency. I mixed decarbed bud with Mississippi Moonshine, sealed it in a jar, shook it up, and am letting it sit. Any tips from ur tincture experience? Thanks.
hi Parnelli heard from friends today, they utilize the canabutter machine (magicbutter methinks). As for tips i dunno i put in some drops of spearmint oil for some kick, makes a neat hot chocolate. it's strong as far a the tincture goes and most use a few drops at a time. i, a barely civilized savage, usually chugs contentedly from the bottle. not really a rules kind of person when it comes to a good buzz. cheers.

Yogi, Thanks for reaching out to your friends for me. I'm like you, I'll chug from the bottle. Great idea on the mint oil for flavoring. My impatience won out and I put about 2ml in lemonade; had a nice herbal flavor and gave a light buzz for a good part of the day. Minty hot chocolate sounds great as we're holed up for the Winter waiting for our turn to get a shot in the arm. Thanks again!

btw: your plants are looking great :yummy:

morning/evening all
it's dusk somewhere.

Day 3 of a huge 4 day job w several challenges Homie's #feelin'it lol.
20210108_165228.jpg

I've tucked in 5 1ltr kwazulu to bring the plant circus lineup to thirteen in the flower space plus the bean plant and one freshly planted mango pit. Will transplant the 1L this week.
Smoked 1/2 joint of lemon grape 11:30 am still well buzzed at 4, it weighs nothing really what you would think is four grams is more akin to 1.5g if. However I think it's effect well worth it as well possessing great visual and olfactory appeal.
The kwazulu smells like golden mangos w a hint of carrots. the whole house smells like a baggie of exotic herb lol. Shall address that this weekend.

Nice spot to hang out there in the 3rd dimension! Salt water or fresh? Two Sunfish  - I've been a Sunfish sailor since 1973. Plants are looking good too!
the boats are local sailing school boats. lasers i believe. had a lindenberg 026 rigged single sailor w 2:1 & 4:1 self tailing lewmars back in the day kept it in Miami. used to sail biscayne bay during the night when i lived down there, loved that rig. The photo was on the gulf when visiting Dad, 82 and still does 3 mile walks at 6 am.

hi all, am tucked under blankets on the couch, ginger tea and sea salt rosemary bread high on lemon grape #2 wishing similar joy to you.

trichs on one of the polinated kwazulu
day 67 since flip about 62 days from 1st budding.

getting chunkier :rollit:

took a sample bud that i did not brush w pollen am drying it for a few days. .

. The plants are somewhere around 33 35 days since pollination so I figure a week or two more for good seed development minimum anyone out there care to weigh in? what are you all up to anyway? how are you?

Gorilla Breath clone reacting to a few days under budget led's 250w, 100% w UV on.

ok. i need help lol. will somebody PLEASE explain how this could happen. one kwazulu. flowering now oh about 40 days is done. !? def stopped growing its other siblings are on pace twice as thick and trichs are clear. tjis one has faded yellow leaves hasnt gained size in over a week and is 20 to 30% bronze outside the bud 10 to 15% inside the buds. lol. what? I'm all for sitting with it three more weeks but do not want a full bronze trich couch locker on my hands thank you.

The second head scratcher is the Gorrila Breath - its even more advanced at almost 50/50 white to bronze trichs even half way down the plant. How? it is a consistent 60 to 70 day flower how tf am i under 45 days w swollen fat nugs w those trichs?
lower side branch nug and trichs:

full discolsure i can pass the marshmallow test lol, this isn't about impatience I just don't want this to go way past the parameters that i enjoy. Plus tbh getting more space in the tent for more vegging plants to flower is pretty sexy to me at this point.
Oddly enough there is a 3rd twist: the lemon grape should be done right now but needs at least two more weeks. Sun grown apparently finishes faster w that strain, all good but again a surprise not planned for.

So im def going to harvest the kwazulu, i need space, not hurting for flowering plants and yeah Gorrila Breath goes as ive been looking at trichs in the bud all over the whole plant and yep pretty bronze... it feels wrong lol as I've mentally prepared myself for a good ten week process w it not week six. The leaf fade is minimal but the trichs are not waiting for anyone or anything....? Kwazulu today. if convincing arguments are made on GBreath's account the grow goes onward elsewise it's the end of it in the flower tent. Usable product trumps desire for more growth.
Is this an effect of LED? UVA? anyone? @Budget LED LOVE this light! this is only 2 out of 8 plants in flower the rest seem to be at a normal pace. Just trying to wrap my head around warp speed development of these two plants.
