Gtrmike's GDPurps & Triple Cheese Run - 600w 4x4 Ebb & Flo Show!

I can't wait to see your Triple Cheese flower.

Ironically it was my fattest leaf pheno that has stretched the most (pic #3).

Here are my three TC's at just before flower, then after 28 days of 12/12. Really minimal stretch overall.

Also, an example of all three tops I snapper yesterday...27 days since 12/12, so maybe 21 days actual flower, I can never decide how to count it lol

Many people count from first calyxes. I count from flip. I find that, a lot of the time, the breeders listings are close to about 5%amber. Strain dependent of course. In other words, I feel breeder times are a minimum growth period, to where it's worth while to cut. Then it depends on how you like it in terms of trichome maturity, added weight et cetera. I like around 10-15% amber. After chop, continued ripening finishes out around 15-20%. A little on the heady side of an equal balance.

Hey Gherbo! Glad you made it. True. I could do it that way, but, more to it than symetry. I find the Scrog maximizes the light to otherwise lower bud sites. Instead of 5 or 6 or even 8 tops per plant, I get more like 20 per plant that behave like tops. Having said that, I'm dying to try out my RDWC buckets for a run. Some monster colas!!
Yessir staying tuned;) get it ahahahahaha but makes sense man I'll get one building one soon, will be posting a how to journal as well for everyone too peep in on, and oh boy do I love symmetry!! ahaha

What did you squish with Mike? My ol' lady is a career hair dresser, so using one of her flat irons would surely results in my painful demise. I have tried with an electric skillet and heated weights from a pollen press, but never with great results.

20 ton press. But 10 is likely enough. I've seen guys with little hand held jobbies too. Our brother So2178 is getting ready to do a run now. I stole these images from his journal to give you an idea of what's required. You should check it out if you're not already there.

so on the left are the plates for pressing. They attach to the press. In the center, is the control module and probes. This heats, and controls the temperature of the plates. On the right you'll see some small bags. This is what you put your matter into. Making this stuff is truly an art form, and it takes a sweet touch to get it right. A great learning process, and I loved doing it.

All in 350.00 including shipping and tax on the plates and controller. 160.00 ten ton press was on sale but you can get them on sale at that price no problem. In CDN if USD subtract 100.00 on plate kit. Not 1400.00 up like pre built.

So what your saying is...not a hair iron haha. Great info, didn't know it could be done like that in the sub $1000 range. Unfortunately, I live on an island and getting some things shipped here can be a bitch...going to look though.

Thanks for the info guys.

Post #420! This deserves a bud...
