Happy Frog and Ocean Forest mix with Perlite

Easy All,

First grow underway.

Got some Feminized Blue Amnesia seeds from M.O.C. and dropped them in a glass of water to begin germination.

Taproots are out a decent amount. Going to plant them in solo cups for a couple weeks.

My question is, I have a bag of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Fox Farms Happy Frog, should I mix the OF with HF and some perlite? Or should I just use straight Happy Frog for my seedlings?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm a new grower also and use the same soil. I found that the FF Ocean is a little too strong for seedlings, so I mix Happy Frog, Perlite and a bit of coco for the seedlings. When it's time to change the pot, I use Ocean Forest and perlite. Hope that helps!

Given the option, I'd use a plain peat moss-perlite mix.
IMO, no nute's for the first couple of weeks, at least. Otherwsise go with whichever is lowest in fert's.
