I’m a first time grower,I’m jus under 3rd week of flower,I grow in soil happy frog and Mother Earth,I use advanced nutrient ph perfect technology a and b conassuier, big bud and terpinator.

all new growth and bud production looks good, and tricombs are starting to kick in nicely but I got a bronze coloration around the ridges of leaf an on dome the tops are curling up,and got some purple stems all though I’m not sure that matters I will include photos of the leaf buds and new growth for a better understanding also the bottom side of leaf looks healthy until the bronze part drys out n it comes through the bottom

Is it mostly the top of the plant? It looks like a Ca def to me. The lower leaves are not showing these symptoms?
Really the top of the plant is fine,it kinda started from bottom/middle n the new growth even for the most part the fan leaves at the top and by the buds have no issues brotha,

I’m a new grower I use ph perfect technology by advanced nutrients so I’ve never flushed of check my ppm in my soil run off or even the water that goes into my plant because my grow store guy told me it’s ph perfect so thier no reason,if that helps u any better,I’m in late second week of flower tricombs buds n new leaves show lil to no issues

I agree with MrSauga what are you using for a water source?

umm I noticed you quoted my question but did not really answer it. Are you using tap, well, or RO water? I ask to try see how much calcium she gets in with the water.
I appolagize I’m a new grower,so when I said ph perfect I figured as long as my ph was rite n I added other supplements it would be fine, but to answer I live in Detroit I use tap water,I run my water into a 15 gallon barrel n I airate the water before feeding I use the recommended amount to mix in,rite now I’m also using big bud and terpinator,I was using nirvana but stoped for a week,in the past I’ve used Carbo-load,cal-meg but it’s been about two months since I used those jus wanted to put info to you since u helping thank you

can you check ppm or EC when you flush or no? no is fine I am just curious and ya full send on some cal mag but tap water should have some calcium in it. All plants are different though

You said you were using AN pH perfect nutes; but have you actually checked the pH ? Mine said that too. It usually pH'd to the 5.8 Hydroponics level & not to the 6.4 pH for soil.
Seems these days a lot of people don't pH their nutes. They say the soil buffers the nutes so it's not needed. Maybe in a few years after I see enough good results I'll quit pH-ing too. But for now, I'm still skeptical.

Hey guys I really appreciate it I’m new to growing any recommendations are appreciated thank you again
There's no need to flush that plant. If it's happening on the lower and mids then you are having a K issue. Adding more bloom nutes will help.

Happy Frog and Mother Earth are buffered medias and do not require you to pH your nutes. If you were using coco or another type of hydro system then pH'ing your nutes is key.

If you want to check the pH in your media you need to do a slurry test which is easy. Scroll down through the below link for the section on Slurry test.

yes I use ph perfect but I have not check ph or my ppm

I did the first test with baking soda and white vinegar I could barely hear a little fizzing in both, actually when I added the water also I couldn’t see nothin but u could hear a reaction

Well that test is the least accurate but it sounds like you are OK. If the fizzing was extreme then it would be acidic. I would just increase the bloom nutes for now which will give it more K. Watch it for the next few days. The damaged leaves will not fix themselves but you should be able to prevent more damage.
How much nutes are you feeding in comparison to what the manufacturer recommends?
I live in Detroit I use tap water
I would assume your tap water is pretty good so nothing basic or acidic to cause the pH to drop drastically in the media.
