Hey, I stopped my attempt at the aeroponic's setup Johnnydetroits' SCROG . I'm new to growing and I should of listened to many people, telling me to grow in soil to start, then expand to aeroponics. So this time I will try two different grows. Some will be standard Fox Farm Ocean soil, some will be in a DWC.

Six days ago I started some seeds five of each Raspberry Cough, and Black Jack. All seeds sprouted and are well on there way to making my patients very, very happy.

My main patient is my mother. Two years ago she was diagnosed with A Glioblastoma multiforme - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I honestly believe that marijuana is a natural miracle herb. After many chemo treatments, this herb has done wonders for my mother. With the help of these wonderful herbs it helps curve the pain, nausea, and loss of apatite. I just wanted to state and share this with you all to give you a idea of where I'm coming from.

Anyways, sorry about the downer. I'll add some pic's to show you where I'm at. These seeds where ordered Fem but I'm guessing only flowering will tell. I plan on taking a cutting ASAP to flower and check each plant. NO MALES!

BTW.....
1. I'm a electriction, (few years experience)
2. They are T12's Spec's, please let me know what you think?
3. I have two 2'x4' lights each with 2x T12's. I dropped one.......BOOOM! I think the ballast is dead on one. I'll test it tomorrow and grab a new ballast and lamp.

More info tomorrow

BTW I hated English class.

Here are some pictures. Not much to see yet, but.......

Failboat sounds like a Dodger Blues blog entry. Good on ya bro I'll be watching from here on out. PS. Go Dodgers! :)popcorn:fuckers)

Nice to see those pristine roots reaching out from the netpots. Growth above the hydroton should pickup within a week. :goodjob:

Johnny, I have had leaves do the curling into a tube thing before and it happened with clones that I had recently put into a grow. You can see how mine looked in my phototron grow. Look to my first post.

PhotoTron Grow with Ebb N Flow

I think it has to do with intense lighting while the little plant is still growing its roots. Since it cannot get the moisture and nutrients from the soil/nutrient bath at a sufficient level to support the photosynthetic level allowed by the light level, the plant curves in the leaf edges in order to shade the leaf tops. As the root system fully develops, the problem will correct. Try getting the little plants farther away from the light source so the plants can focus on growing roots.

This is my educated guess as to why that happens. I would suggest to not mess with your nutrient regimen.

3 Weeks today since I cracked the seeds.
They look good. Two plants in the DWC (1 strand of each) have yellowish leafs. I cut them off.

Nutrient change today. Full strength DWC and dirt.
I must say I think this is going to be a great success for me.

Nice to see those healthy roots. Wondering about those leaves though. Still seeing edge curling on all the leaves. I don't have an answer for you but you should post them in a thread in the below forum.

Well, Mom broke her ankle to add to the cancer...... I'm staying up there at her house 5 days at a time so my posts will be days in between. Trying to get internet up north at her place but, I don't think they even have electricity. Just kidding I might be able to get DSL. Here is some new pic's. I think I need them to stretch a little, we will see. I had the dirt ones on a shelf, they are now sitting on the ground. I spread them out a little they needed space. Here are some pic's.
