Hi peeps have a slight problem well not really a problem but it is weird, I checked EC and was flashing 0.6 0.8 so in between there, so I empty some out and then top up with 0.4 solutions wait a bit and EC reads 0.6 mins later check again and it's flashing 0.6 0.8 again ok so I water down the 0.4 solutions till it won't read on my truncheon i again drain a Bit and top up, it flashes 0.4 so I think ok fine leave it it at 2 mins later 0.6 0.8 again so I give up and left it at that as will definitely be weak as added fresh water PH is good was 5.87 once I Was done was 5.88 so rising daily but that's healthy but surely the wasn't dumping nutes that quick or maybe I just didn't drain enough but anyway all good they looks happy Phone died so no pics today but tomorrow some more pics to give a difference as everyday can't tell much difference so by tomorrow there will be a big diff between photos, 0.6 to 0.8 300 to 400 x5 scale that should be ok shouldn't it?

My meters good only it a little I feel like it was me could Of drained it more it's 60l so i guess it knocked it back up there looking good check it what do you think,

They look great, in any case a meter shouldn't jump around if the solution was thoroughly mixed. There's a big difference between 0.4,0.6 and 0.8 get some calibration liquid and tune it in if possible.

Yeah man all sorted I have drained again and mixed it down to 0.4 and 0.6, yeah tell me about it was stressing me out had to go and sort it hopefully now there will be ok . peace

Also peeps they are already starting to develop a beautiful smell, got close to one when draining I was like wow rub and stem and just a beautiful smell,

Cheese living up to it's name is it normal for it to start smelling already?

Here are my babies today who recommends putting HPS 600w on now as 25c is best temp for them and I'm running 18 to 20 and can't get humidity up, here are pics from you guys

No it looks like they still need plenty of time to veg unless you plan on vegging with the hps. If you plan on vegging with it (16/8, 18/6, 20/4 etc) then I say go with it more light is good!

When you asked about switching to hps because temps are 18-20C, what are the res temps like? Although it may seem like a good idea, it the hps heats up the room and the res gets warm, you're going to have all sorts of issues. Check water temp first before making changes to environment I say . plants look great so far though


Well stupid me just scrolled up and saw you are recording water temps lol

So yeah as long as the res doesn't get above about 24C you should be safe ..
