Cool. The wick cloner can be made pretty small though and requires no electricity so can be placed in many out of the way locations. Then, you wouldn't have "all your eggs in one basket."

Yeah, check out the little thread I made when I made it. I tested different wick materials, but an old T-shirt cut into strips worked really well.

Wick Cloner: simple, cheap and effective

I presently have the top of one of the last clones I made in it along with a single leaf that I am trying to get to root as an experiment. It is still mostly green weeks after it was cut. I'll put in a pic of the roots if it works.

yeah tissue culture cloning has been around a while. Not really interested in it for my purposes. It is pretty cool though. Thats like REAL cloning if you ask me lol

I was toying with that when I started my 1st grow..you know how we try wierd shit. After numerous conversations with my grow guy...he concluded it wasnt worth the effort, He did it for a year or so and he even offered to give us his old stuff to try but he recomended learning the old school way 1st and either buy a cloner or then do tissue culturing. I bought the cloner

McBudz i have followed all your grows man that GWS looks amazing. From a noobie trying to learn i have immersed myself in your grows learning as much as i can, and i have learned alot, will be ordering all my supplies very soon.

I am soon to start my first grow with Choccolope and i think i will get me some GWS to go with that, i went to the 2007 Cup and smoked all those entrys i think it was G13 haze that won it which was really good dont get me wrong but Choccolope was my favorite i smoked quite a bit of that haha.

Plants are looking nice. I noticed that you started out with 400 watters and you switched to 600 watters. In your exprience what are your pros and cons in going from 400 to 600 watters? I.e. Bigger or more dense buds, higher electricity bill.

yeah the obvious things..

better denser buds, more yield..

Higher elec bill, more heat, bulbs cost a little more to replace...

All worth it
