My Second Grow and Anxious Already

Wel, been absent quite awhile and the kids left home. Do to circumstances beyond my control they had to be moved. :riskybusiness:l They are staying at a friends home and haven't seen them in 2 weeks. I've been told they are growing well but this person never grew a blade of grass.
Hoping to see them today, they may be old enough to sex.. He tells me the yellow has calmed down, boy the tips were bright yellow. I really thought it was because of my problem fighting then *&@#~ flies...It was a full fledged battle.
Seems odd not to have them, I was checking on them all the time, I miss my babies.
The room is so empty. I am anxious to see them.

Best of luck Friend.
Keep in touch. :ciao:

Hey lil
from your pics your soil is to compact. did anyone try cutting the soil with some perlite or vermiculite. compact soil chokes off the roots. roots like oxygen and need room to get it...good luck with your babies.

:thanks: All. If I could get my hands on them I would do just that, I want them specially the Shanti.

This will probably draw some attention, I was thinking if I had any males, I know the shanti are female but if there is a male among the others I may let it fertilize the females.
The shanti are supposed to be 75 percent Sativa, the others are unknown but was very good smoke..You buy really expensive seeds and hope. They would no longer be special but I would have enhanced seeds. Yes, no?
I've been so busy working the only things I've missed are my babies, my parrot and all you great guys.
Cat meow, meow

I think you are right, mealy worms I think although I never used them for fishing it was either Night crawlers or those nasty Sea worms with their alien mouths. You pinch them behind their heads and there teeth come out. Nasty.
Aren't you glad I explained that to you? Made your day.
Hi ho it's off to work I go.
LilCat

Doing great thanks, taking a day off :cheer: :cheer:. Working in a casino isn't easy, I don't smoke "cigarettes" and it gets to me but work is work. So it's nice to have time to goof off.:goof:
Missing my plants and couldn't stand not having them so I started just two.
I was curious about some seeds I had, nice and plump and almost white with speckles.
Would you or anyone else know why the differences in colour?
A day cancelled do to lack of interest :yahoo: :goof:
Hope today is a good one for all here.

i know that whiter/light colored seeds tend to be under developed, thus rendering some of them infertile... if you squeeze it between your thumb and pointer finger with a good amount of pressure and it doesn't crack then it will have a good chance. the color is also an indication of if the seed isn't 'cured', meaning it has been allowed to dry in a cool dry dark place to represent their' hibernation during the winter months. this will also aid in the percentages of a viable seed. hope this helps better explain. :grinjoint: +reps for missing your ladies
:goodluck:

Hey Lil:sorry: It sounds like you are fighting allkinds of $h1+:thumb: But you seem to have a Killer attitude. I hope your grow is as :yummy:as you seem to be...:bravo:

I got really behind in keeping my journal up. I changed jobs and had to do different shifts and my inner clock doesn't know day from night anymore. I need a timer.
I got my babies back about 2 1/2 weeks ago, I had to remove them from the house and a non smoker friend took care of them, sort of, I got them back just in the nick of time. They looked very sad but with my love and care they are now doing well. The Shanti are slow growers and the others are now about almost 2 ft. The Shanti is healthy just slow. No offence to all Shanti's..
While they were gone I couldn't stand not having any babies to care for so I started 2 more and mingled them in with my herb garden, hoping they would not be notice, they hid themselves well. What better place to hide out.
Hey Cat, watchca got growing? Herbs ;)
So, now I have small, medium and large. Compare to the last grow these are weird. I believe they are all sativa's. The leaves are long and thin not tall like the other sativa I had but more bushy. As soon as I get my camera fixed I will show them off.
After all the punishment they( and I ) went through I took the dirt out as best I could and replaced the soil, no more flies and a lot of the yellowing is gone. It's really amazing we all survived. I still have bad dreams with all those flies stuck all over the tape with their little legs wiggling and yelling,'' help meee, help meee.''
I can really recommend using ''Press 'n' Seal'', not'' Cling Wrap'', to suffocate and keep the flies contained. You use two pieces one for each side of the plant and pinch along to you get to the stalk and then seal the edges around the container, then use an elastic for extra sealing. It really kept the flies down.
I only wish I had thought of it much sooner.
If you read all this:kiss: bless your heart.
I have missed you all, the world has gone nuts and it's nice to come here where everyone is friendly.

glad you made it back... now get us some pics to stare at lol:grinjoint:

Geeze Weeze........ if these plants survive and produce it will be something. They have put to the test for sure. I had only one that was looking very healthy, the other one is just a little smaller and has some kind of problem that I will look up. The other 2 just never grew. The other 2 atleast, grew, about two ft. I'de say..
I need a nap.

quote:hmmmm: :hmmmm: This when it all started, well, it all started with the dirt, being cheap, no understanding of growing and a whole lot of other stuff.

The dirt was "Miracle Grow" but made for plants grown outdoors, hence it isn't treated the same as "Miracle Grow" for your home so you can end up with any, creepy, crawly thing God thought up..:yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:.

Born :cheer:,
growing :slide:
first fly :cheesygrinsmiley: second fly, 3rd, fourth, 100 dreads, could be 1000 sands :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

weeks go by with no rest for my tormented soul, no light in this endless black. My body and spirit can bear no more, I sleep.......
The light warms my face as it creeps along the shadows, eliminating the Earth.
It's moving so fast now, passing quickly, pushing back the black till not a dot remains. I sqeeze my eyes closed, a smile etches my face, a swelling in my chest, I will burst, burst with joy.

Everyone must be busy tending to their grows.
It was really nice meeting you all it was such a nice change from the crazy world out there but there is not much fun talking to myself..So time to mosy on down the road.
I wish everyone well, it was a blast.
See ya
