Newbie grower

Hi all I've been reading as much info as I can soak up here and need help so I decided to register. Looking to sex plants I have but i am having trouble. Any help would be appreciated. My feeling is it might be two early.

Also how critical is a fan? does it need to run 24/7 . I have built my grow inside a 40gal drum
And my fan really moves the air to the point of the plants moving quite a bit. I'm worried this might hurt the grow.

Shouldn’t be an issue, you need to move air in and out to bring in more fresh air.

Welcome, not gonna beat a dead horse. Those are growth tips and stipules in the pictures. It’s gonna need more time to be able to sex them.

Ok so things are growing slow I need to increase my light intensity. Here some new pics I think the little hair is the pistol I'm looking for a female (I think).
