On my way to my PCP in RI

Wingman420

Commercial Cultivator
I am in my forties a disabled Teamster who had CDL with HazMat and Explosives certification, The X-Endorsement which enables anything that can move under power on the road, or worksite. Fully licensed Hydraulic Engineer, licensed to operate Boons, Jigs, Derricks, and Cranes with or without wire ropes, All Loaders, Front End Loaders, Rear Loaders, Lulls, All Excavators with or without wire ropes, Backhoes, Drills, Pump Trucks, etc, etc, basically I was useful and now I am broken and am not allowed to drive anything. Not even a matchbox car OTR. I wonder if my PCP will think MMJ will help? I went to RIDH and picked up all rules, regs, and the app, will see him in a few days I hope he makes the declaration for MMJ. Some people do not think this works at all, I hope they will never need it and are healthy.

Well I was run over completely broke everything from my right shoulder/chest to left hip/leg. It f**^%$g hurts all the time and this happened 10 yrs ago.
As my RX medication has not worked in months and causes you to throw up or starve, I tried MMJ reluctantly, within 20 minutes from trying I was experiencing measured pain reduction and the ability to eat, what a relief. I look forward to going forward in a legal, responsible manner, and will let you know what happens, please wish me luck.
If anyone can offer any insights please do.

:welcome: wingman580 my Brother! I would think you need to stress to the doctor that the Man made crappy meds give you harsh side effects. That after 10 yrs THEY DO NOT work! That in fact they make matters worse. I am wishing you the very best of Luck man! If this doc does not work for you I have a brother-in-law whos girlfriend is a MM user from R.I. I will try to contact him for her information. But now I am crossing my fingers for you. That Cannabis will be recommended to help you. Please keep 420 up to date! The very best regards Buddy! :peace:

Ouch! My buddy has a brother that was crushed between two trucks and suffers pain similar to yours. He gets much relief from MJ.

My pains are old man disease and falling off my chopper many moons ago.

All my good karma goes out to you and I hope that you find the kind of relief that our blessed herb has given to me.

:peace:

Aren't you the reluctant one. I'm glad you found out you don't have to suffer as you once did. Welcome to a world of knowledge!

Thank you for your keen understanding of my situation and please send my best wishes to your buddy and his bro "crushed between two trucks" this type of disability affects entire families due to the severe physical limitations.
I am so encouraged by the Old School Farmers, Hospitality Staff, and New Members who have advised me, welcomed me, and cared enough to help with kindness, and warm wishes.
I want to Thank ALL Members of 420Magazine.com who are some of the best people in America.....see ya @ 420.....under the statue..What Class!:goodjob:

I also wish to let everyone know my Treatment Team (Dr's who oversee my care insuring MY best care, and options) were unanimous in the decision that Medical Marijuana would indeed assist in my treatment, (even more so than Marinol with its limited efficacy).

My signed forms and the Doctor's Declaration of Debilitating Medical Disorders listing all, medical records, Dr's tel #, License #, and prognosis that Medical Marijuana's benefits far exceed any health risk associated with it's use are now in the hands of the RIDOH.
I was informed they will reach a decision contacting me in 15 days.

Can't wait, everyday is stressful as I do not want to endanger the application

:thanks: :thanks: :ganjamon::Rasta::woohoo::passitleft::tommy::theband:

Somebody please enlighten me!

What the hell is a PCP?

Around here it's horse trank that messes up your head if you smoke it. Been there, done that and never again thank you very much. Made me feel like I was a troll and should live under a bridge. I damn near did and I never want to experience that horrible trip again.

It was a commonly used pot adulterant in the late 60s and is a prime example of why we need to get the herb legalized, regulated and taxed just like booze or tobacco.

Just my 2-bits worth.

:peace:

My Friend ,

I too am old enough to abhor this acronym. I am a disabled Teamster and while years ago we enjoyed 101% health coverage ($0 at any Dr and .01 cent at the pharmacy) it then changed, in the late 80's govt allowed a type of de-regulation of Healthcare. Now most of us in the workforce belong to "groups" or "HMO's".
In a "group" or "HMO" you must pick your one Dr you see for everything who will then if allowed give you a referral to the specialist you require. This all powerfull Dr is called your Primary Care Physician or PCP. Sucks huh. wait for the govt to fu#*k up our healthcare even more!
Bra. Like the song says "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet":rollit:
I hope This answers your question and feel free to ask anything anytime.:thanks:
Sincerely,
Wingman580:ganjamon:

Dude I liked the analogy about the troll.:adore:
HMO= Health Maintenance Organization I know Canada is universal health so ask away. I would love to come up there and live in a very rural area a few months a year, but to a relaxed marijuana area, as I will soon be licensed with very limited reciprocity in the States.

Did you ever get that card bro ? Hope all is well thanks for the rep

Yes my friend I did and am still growing despite being Busted only days into my first garden I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving

In the 30 years I have been in the working world I have seen a huge degradation of medical care across the board. My ex wife (one of my best friends) belongs to a pretty good union and they are fighting and preparing to strike to avoid more take-aways.

The thing is that every time there is a recession or depression the big businesses try to take more away.

I am seeing you are having rough times and it may not help, but there are a lot of people having it rough right now. We are in the worst economic times in a century. Of course that doesn't really put anything on the table, pay the doctor's bill, or even make you feel better. But we are a community and we need to stick together, if only by moral support. Teamsters are still a pretty good union, probably the best there is. This economy will bounce back, the unions will be in a better bargaining position, and you will survive being busted. Everyone can be a great guy when times are good, but being a great guy when times are bad is what shows real character. Don't let them get you down.

Good luck on the trial. I am hoping you do not get it too bad. RI is such a small state that there are not that many stories in the news about it. I do not have any idea what the law is like there. Either way you will survive and come back. What don't kill you only makes you stronger.

Good for you bud much respect ! keep fighting for what u believe in ! and I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving also thank you hope all is well

:thanks:brother I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.

G-dog my man, you are an inspiration brother. I agree 420%.:bravo: I could not have said that better myself. I saw my intro resurrect from the dead and while I did not want to scare anybody I had to tell the truth and not cover the facts with bullshit. RI the cops do not respect MMJ Law and we will see if the Courts do. Thanks to all of my 420Mag Family for the positive energy and support!
+Rep to all three :thanks:
