Hello guys,

I am thinking about upgrading from my HPS 600W light to Samsung LM301b V2 QB lights (3x120W). Is this light good for growth and flower cycle? Or do I need to modify it in any way? Like, add some LED light with grow light spectrum, etc...? I really new in growing weed. So I am a little bit lost in this kind of stuff. I will appreciate any help.

Thank you.

6500K for veg, 2700k for bloom, but 3000-3500K is a good compromise for both. I am running a Budget 480w 3000k Red Spec and 2 100w 4500k bars. All are Samsung and Meanwell and adjustable. I start my 4'X4' scrog with 200w of 4500K and ,100W of the 3000K. I dial these in with the growing cycle until in final bloom, I am running 480w 3000K and about 30 w of 4500K. Just started with leds, so can't really comment on how effective it is.

I'd say the biggest choice is between a Quantum Board vs a Strip Light.
I chose strip light for the more even coverage and cooler running temp.

Sadly strips are not available in my country and I do not want them to purchase from eBay/etc because of warranty.

Mine I think are 4000k white LM301B with 660 photored diodes

Or a combo of different Kelvin temps. Since they are adjustable, it's kinda like dial-a-season.
