yeah I would love to find original og kush. I live in a non mmj state so It can be difficult to chase down certified strains. I wish I knew what I am growing now, its out of some excellent past bags but is looking awesome so far.
I need to do some experimenting with lst and topping in my bloombox. I did some late tie down and the branches on the sides reached up and acted as another plant while the top bent back up itself. I see how this works great if done right.

i feel you buddy! i have sat back and let my plant grow just stepping in when im needed and shes done amazing for me. its my first grow also and shes getting little buds everywhere its a great feeling i agree!

i know wat u mean bout that great feeling mine is just starting bud formation and i couldnt be anymore excited. i feel like a child anxiously awaiting xmas morning, it cant get here soon enough

clint, and yea i was extremely surprised to see how quickly my plant responded to the lst. also insane to think how well they perform under lst, like the plant is fighting with all its might to reach the light even if its not the main branch.

i plan on letting my seedlings get kinda big then im pullin them down an lettin the shoots "Reach for the sky" (woody, toy story). im hoping this should end up doubling my yield

yeah man maybe yours will go alittle faster than mine but mine is dragging ass right now! i think it seems like theres less growth on mine because i took as many leaves as i could out of the equation so theres not so much green to make the white buds stand out idk

i actually just got done trimming most of my fan leaves so that lovely bush is now trimmed up. wanted deeper light penetration to lower sections that way i get max use of my 400w hps

gonna go to the grow store aka lowes to make a diy carbon filter, also might stop by the real grow store and pick up a few things for my lil girls

and no worries the color on the papaya actually is gone now i think its just me hoverin too much and worryin bout every little thing that i can see.

actually im seein alot of journals on here that are right where we are at about the 2-3 week flower. id say theres at least 5 or 6 journals right where we are. its nice bein able to compare so many diff strains at the same point in growth as ur plant

brudda your gonna get a monster harvest compared to mine. I am rockin CFLs so mine will be considerably smaller. But thats why i take off so many leaves, i want them buds to get it ALL

aright so went to the grow store and picked up a few much needed items.

and i got a lil freebie along with it

gonna be transplantin the lil ones once they dry out i just watered everything today and gave a big helping of nutes to the ladies in flower. i am just starting to see a weeeeee bit o crystal and with my new loupe they look AMAZING!!!!!


treezzz- i defoliated so cant really show u wat happened but im 99% sure it was ph like urs then led to the lockout. i nuted my plants before the holiday and came back to realize the nute mix in my runoff res was still in there and figured ph got whacked out so i cleaned it out and put plain water in the res and everything is lookin good now
like i said its kinda weird lettin the roots grow(soil) out the bottom into a res(dwc), i feel like i get quicker problems like hydro but get the quick response like hydro as well even though this is a soil grow. so i kinda made my mind up to only let the nute mix sit in the res for 1-2 days then put plain water in the res leaving the soil with all the nutes and the res with the water the plant needs in between feedings. ive nuted every watering for about 2 weeks now and am seeing no nute burn....yet. i dont know if this is because my split system or just pure luck but oh well its working.

so i watered the flowering ladies today and decided i finally had enough development to put up some infamous BUD PORN!!!!!!!!!!!

i transplanted the little ones today and will get pics up of them later tonight or tomorrow

yes it truly is a sight to lose yourself in

im am just chompin at the bit for them to get big, dry, and then march right into the bowl so i can burn them.

isnt it weird how u take such good care of them and baby them only to grind them up and set em on fire

now thats a love-hate relationship.

aright can anyone suggest the best way to fill a scrog screen the quickest????

i was just looking around and found a few journals saying multiple differing opinions and would like to get the opinions of the people watching my grow

again im looking for the best and fastest way to fill a scrog with my 4 lil girls that are at two weeks from sprout. will be adding screen in 2 weeks most likely. just wanna get them ready to fill the screen the most effective way possible.

so thats my opinion brother! it will take a while no matter what you do but LST seems to be the quickest.

is that white stuff (idk if its perlite or what you got) is that like on top of soil? lol just curious. everything looks awesome brother!

yea pooh the white stuff is a layer of perlite i put on top bout half inch thick, i read somewhere on here that if u do this it prevents flys and gnats from laying eggs in the soil. and if they do it suffocates the little larvae before they grow up, and it helps to not disturb the soil as much when watering the ladies.

yea i went to the pet store to get carbon and in the same aisle were these little $2 plants and couldnt pass up somethin that looked this cool for that cheap

and onto the training part, i do know that it takes time for the plant to recover from topping or FIMming but i was only thinking about doing it once to each plant, not multiple times. i topped one of my girls that are in flower and it seemed to branch and spread out alot more than my other one that i just lst'd and seeing as how they still have 4-5 weeks of flower left that means the lil ones still have 4-5 weeks of veg left so i have the time for them to recover and still LST them after the initial topping
