S.E.E.D.S a Journey

Booming right along. What else is new? :;):

I did order another 10k BTU Air Conditioner that I found for only $249.00 with free shipping. Hope that will bring the temps back down to the mid 70's in the room.

Growing as magnificent as expected from our most recent plant of the month winner :thumb:

I have been measuring my temperatures in the flowering room at canopy level under the lights.
Where do you measure?
What is your favorite temperature?

I do enjoy your grow :)

Thank you for the kind words Radogast :Namaste: I have taken to hanging the digital temp/humid monitor at about 3 feet off the floor (about a meter for everyone else) and not directly under the lights as much as possible to try and get as accurate a temp/humidity as I can. I try to keep my room at 70-78 for lights on with 45-50% RH (35-40% in flower or lower if possible) and 60-65 light out with 55-60% RH, of course ideal would be 72 and 52 with 40% RH. Thanks again and have fun :rollit:

Hello 420 :ciao:

Today finds us ending week 2, starting week 3. I had a vent piping fail, the flexible type. Did not realize that these are mostly two ply and wrapped to boot. A piece of the wrap on the interior portion of the piping came loose and blocked the hot air from venting during the midpoint of lights on. This cause my AC unit to of course over work itself and subsequently tripped the breaker which controlled my 8" fans for lights, the 12" carbon filter fan, the ac unit itself and 3 of the wall mounted fans causing the room to SOAR in temp/humidity. Caused some damage to 8 of the girls however they are on the mend. The High temp/humidity from night before and current temp at about two hours into lights on.

Amazing room full of gorgeous girls. They are all looking very happy. How big is your room? I'm looking forward to the end result.

Hello NorCalRider hope your garden is green. Room is a 20 x 20 square with 8 X 8 room enclosed in the top right corner if you think of the room as a box. The rest of the box is the flower room.

That's a great size room, mine is only 12x14. This fall I will be building a new multi room building and looking for ideas on the best size and shape. Keep up the great work.

In the begining the garden room was approximately the same size 12X17. I just recently expanded nearly a year later and this put me down for about 3 months however I am sure it will be worth it.

Today finds us moving the new girls from True North Seed Bank a 420 sponsor, into a part of the aforementioned expansion. I planted on 6/19 and have finally on 7/21 moved them into their permanent abode and they look happy :yummy:

Prior to placing them into the ground I wanted to show how the root development, without adding nutrients, and using Light Warrior® Seed Starter with good results to the point to where I needed them to be. Notice the beneficial fungi that is growing in a concert with the roots.

Hello :420:
:thanks::thanks:I just wanted to express my :thanks: for all the knowledge I have gleaned from the pages of this amazing magazine. With a small exception in place for things I have acquired thru other growers and hands on experience, everything else I have learned about growing Cannabis I have learned here and I :circle-of-love: the community:thanks::thanks:

Today finds us ending week 4 and starting well you know...week 5. Looks like temperatures are going to climb back up into the high 80's to low 90's I am hoping it will not actually get that hot. The Co2 supplement is helping to combat the effects of the heat however it sure does up the electricity bill. Finally received my new Method 7 HPS grow room safety glasses to I can take full room photo's.

Hello :420: Hello Friends. ::welcome:

The whole week thing is getting to be a nuisance so I am switching the tracking method to days instead. Today finds us at day 36 of flower. I recently checked my water again for PH, I had been slacking since I always use the same nutrients in the same amounts I figured everything should remain the same however as can happen the water did change. PH was very high 8+ out of the tap. I added a chlorine/heavy metal remover to the regiment also at a single drop per gallon and the water returned to its original 7 out of the tap and 6.5 with nutrients, 1/2 tsp of Cha Ching, 1/2 cup of Cal/Mag, and SNS 604B Flowering Organic Growth Supplement | Sierra Natural Science with these adjustments the girls seem to be happy and are starting to put on weight. This will be the last week of feeding as I only plan on going 8 perhaps 9 weeks or 65 days give or take a few.
