Staking plants

Not sure if this applies fully since I got it from a ‘how to stake vampires’ text. But I’m guessing
most of it still applies. The key seems to be to use surprise and strike fast.

“the key to killing using a stake is to strike first. In this game of life and death, you only need to score once. A (plant) will let its guard down fairly easily. You should attack quickly and without hesitation. A (plant) can heal from most injuries, but a stake through the heart is not one of them.”

Hope this helps. Good luck.

PS. Consider buying one of those camo ‘gillie suits’. Not sure they make cannabis ones but any version will help get you that element of surprise when you are sneaking up on the problem plant.

Be careful!

No that seems pretty farfetched. High humidity is the main thing that’s going to make your plants vulnerable to mould. Bamboo stakes are standard gardening tools and I’ve never had any issues with bamboo or wood stakes.

If you need more support than stakes can give then tomato cages work great too.

scrogging is in my future, I've seen the results, i just haven't figured out how I'm going to do it yet. I've seen some elaborate scroggs, and some simple ones. I'm slowly but surely learning how to grow, like 1 guy said.... if it was that easy everybody would be doing it. lol after a few grows under my belt, I'm tired of autos but they have taught me a lot, now i have 2 phenos that are growing way better than the autos, I'm stuck in the house because its raining cats and dogs right now and we are under a flood warning.

First try at pheno's. So far so good but I might have to rearrange some plants

I use bamboo and those rubber wire stuff I use for my LST, as last plant was going to fall over and break off the tops from the weight:

I went with the natural bamboo as they also have ones that are dyed green, and I didn't want to chance the green dye leaching into my soil.
