ThinkFab's First Grow - Mids in a Tub

It's been a while since the last update, and a few things have changed. purple 2 is in the flower room, and so are the clones. Probably wasn't a great idea to put the clones into flower already, but I'm not to worried about it. also got a clone of purple haze from a friend of mine, and it has been doing good.

The clones. Looking a little burned, so they are now on the bottom shelf.

Here is my $10 portable carbon filter. Just a sheet of activated carbon wrapped around a box fan. Works good for ridding the smell from a small-medium sized room.

Picked up this light, ph, moisture meter from lowes for $10. Seems to work ok.

I've been lazy lately, but I think it's about time for an update.

Bs1 is starting to turn orange. I'm expecting bout 3 more weeks until chop time. She is filling out a bit more now, and my estimated yield is around 1 oz. but I have been told not to expect it.

Purple 2 that I recently put in the flower room, is a female..... woot!

I found out the nycd, and the purple 1 are both female. (I like these odds)

I successfully cloned and panted the purple haze I picked up from my buddies harvested plant.

I have cloned 2 more nycd, and 2 purple's, and picked up a more legit cloning room setup, and got some cloning nutes for them.

Wow. You have a lot going on there TF! I bet that keeps ya pretty busy sometimes lol. They look really nice, I like the big thick leaves. The flowering plant looks real good, I bet you will have some good smoke off of her! Keep it up!

Yes, it can be a little time consuming sometimes, but it's fun. I sure hope it's good. Sure wouldnt want to spend all this time and money, and have terrible results. Time will tell.

Thanks dude. Yea I started in MG, and changed to fox farms. I didnt really know anything about soils, or anything pertaining to indoor gardening when I started this grow.

Plants look very healthy and getting big!

They are finally showing the flowers. Gonna be some cool looking colas in the future I hope.

The youngest clones. 2 Nycd and 2 purple (both 10 days old from clone) and 1 purple haze (21 days old from clone)

Damn, and I thought everything was going so well. unfortunately not all things go as planned, and we have to take what we can befor things get worse.

My bag seed plant decided to turn hermie.

I decided that it would be a good idea to chop hermie down, befor messing up the other plants that are flowering.

So I guess it's on to the drying and curing, and then the smoke report. Considering she was cut down an easy 2 weeks early, I'm guessing it would be a more sativa type high.
I weighed the cola after cutting, and it was 44 grams. So I figure a dry weight of around 8 grams. It's gonna be a few days befor the smoke report, so I guess I should start a new journal for the other plants in flowering.

She smokes great! Can't tell the difference between mine, and something from the dispensary. I did get just over an oz. after everything dried. Good enough for for what it was anyway. The other three plants have around 2 weeks left, and are looking good.

Had a bit of a problem with the bi-annual inspection, so I have been a little busy with that lately.

I also built a 12 hole flood and drain hydro setup I'll have to share sometime.

I think I'm gonna save a couple seeds for later. I do like the knock you on your ass type high this stuff gives me. It smelled a lot like hay for the first few weeks, but now it has a slightly piney smell to it. great for listening to music, and deep thought. Like your doing two things at the same time and dont realize it. I seem to be much more relaxed than most other weed makes me. It seems to make me much more concentrated on things like video games.

Congrats on the smoke! If she's that good that early I'd save some seeds too, the remaining harvest should be even better.

I regret not seeing this thread before today, I just read it front to back, top to bottom and I loved your ingenuity and your learning curve was just crazy! Give you a couple of years and you will probably be a leader on this site if you keep it up, I'm really interested in your next adventure if you have one on here. I hope you don't lose your enthusiasm and stay with it. I have been growing on and off for a years and I have gotten so many ideas from you. Can't wait to see more, message me with your new one if you get the time, I would definately be honored!
