Day 55. 2 weeks since I decreased 12 hour cycle. Stretching was more than I anticipated, but I'm ok with that. They appear healthy with plenty of bud sites. I'm hoping good 06_05_01.JPG06_05_02.JPG06_05_03.JPG06_05_04.JPG06_05_06.JPG06_05_07.JPG06_05_08.JPGthings continue.

2 months into the grow. Plants stretched more than I expected, but at this point I'll just deal with it.

So, into week 6 of bloom cycle, I'm satisfied with progress so far. Attic is getting really warm, so I'm hitting them with water in the mornings and evening, keeping them hydrated. Every other day, I'm providing nutrients and keep the air circulating.

First week of flushing completed. I'm hoping I'm getting close? I also learned that you really need to trim and crop to control the stretching. My plants are a little out of control. The pistils are turning and I think the trichomes are starting to cloud a tad. Any ideas as to when I might reach the finish line? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check your ripeness by checking the trichomes. Once they get around 15% amber they are ready. That one picture shows they are still throwing a lot of white pistils out, for me this means they are not ready and still need at least a week or two.

Flushing is not needed, and only starves the plants in the most critical time. Personally, I would feed the plants again, give them at least 2 more weeks and while checking trichomes every other day. Just my two cents =)

Still waiting for the trichomes to amber up. I guess another week, or so.

Ohhh yesss now they are looking really good. I like to see pistils turn brown and really frost up. Make sure you are checking the inter trics right past the sugar leaves. They should be ready any time now.

HN, I'll keep that in mind. Have had a rough time with temperatures, the Purple Kush is looking pretty sick, so I've done a substantial trimming and pretty much given up on it but may get some yield. The Granddaddy and Purple Haze are looking happy and healthy. I sure hope its time soon to harvest, the wait is driving me a little crazy.

Well, I've pretty much given up on trichomes turning amber, I just powered off the light, I couldn't control the temps, which is why I think the failure. I'll leave them in the dark for a day or so, harvest, cure, and see what happens.
