I usually just cut my own poles, but you can buy bamboo poles at most garden centers. Loosely tie it with a plant tie.

I'm pretty sure we have poles, but was extremely hesitant about putting it close to the stalk for fear of damaging the roots.

One must ask Seven or Eight weeks into flower,"what matters more to me, some root damage, or branch damage?" I mean I didn't come to grow roots. They breed those gals to produce big flowers, not to have stout stalks. It's up to you, but your rolling the dice.

9/25/23 - Both plants are still leaning from all the rain. Added 2/3 cup of GeoFlora Bloom to both plants. Did not water today since soil still very wet.

9/28/23 - Staked both plants. They’re standing straight / tall again. Sprayed the leaves / soil with SNS-203.

9/29/23 - This is approximately Week #7 of flower. Used a magnifier to look at the buds for the first time and delighted to see the trichomes. Realized that getting good pictures of the trichomes is not as easy as I thought it would be! When that high a magnifier, it's nearly impossible to keep your hand steady to take the pics. Here are a couple of pics – are these trichomes considered clear or cloudy at this point? Any guess as to how much longer before harvest?

Looking good. Least a few weeks left judging by the amount of fresh pistils.
I think the elements can cause early amber, so don't worry too much about the trichomes.

Looks damn good. I can see some cloudy, but your gonna want to keep going. Your at the point where they're gonna start putting on weight.You could get some molasses, and mix'em with water. That seems to work.

I’d flush them for approximately 2 weeks?

Also, Flushing is just watering them w/out any other amendments, right?

You can flush but a lot of people here (myself included) skip on the preharvest flushing because it has been found to have little effect and if done for a period of a few weeks you're just starving your plant of vital nutrients. [1][2]
You can do water only for the last week if you want to save some nutrients for your next grow.

A flush to reset your soil and solve lockouts usually involves running 3x the container size worth of water through the media to dislodge the salt build up. But that's a different use case than preharvest flushing.

Probably want to quit fertilizing them. They'll pull nutrients from the leaves. I think there supposed to be a cold front coming in, and that could turn Granddad purple.

10/6/23 - They're not ready to harvest yet, but guessing in the next 2-4 weeks?
But, the weather is quickly cooling off with lots of rain.
It's in the 50's today.
How much do I need to worry about possible negative effects caused by the weather?
I keep hearing about bud rot, etc.
What can I (should I) do to take these two plants across the finish line?

I’m thinking this will probably be the last GeoFlora given before I harvest. Watered them 1.5 gallons each w. added Sweet Candy (0-17-28). Should this be the last Sweet Candy given before I harvest too?

Worried about the possibility of bud rot now that it’s raining more and getting cooler.

They look great. You could try putting something over them when it rains. Anything you could rig as a make shift umbrella would work. Have you smoked any of it yet?
