So In my journey with cannabis I have discovered the perfect slogan to fit my growing style which is a bit all over the place. Growing by the seat of my plants! I started this recent grow with the idea of reinventing the wheel of nutrients so to speak. After careful analysis of my data, I am merely reinventing a wheel. I have decided to abandon my coco mix for that of Fox Farms Strawberry Fields. Which in fact is labeled with 35 to 45% coco. It is labeled low on nitrogen and higher in P&K. I have added some dry fertilizers from Down To Earth as a boost along with a healthy amount of perlite(Strawberry fields has none). I have read that you don't need to add anything, but when has that ever been true! I will post my recipe soon! Cheers!

One thing to keep in mind with coco/soil blends is to water more like soil than coco. It may have coco in it but it will retain a lot more moisture, even with added perlite.

No. The only thing I added with N was around 3-16-0. Time will tell.

Oof! I'm not a water-only grower but I'm pretty sure the soil blenders here would say you don't have enough nitrogen for your plants.

So for me, DRYING is the part that requires the most ATTENTION! So I thought about putting a plastic storage unit in there with some DIY racks. Arggghhh! Too much work, over engineered! Then I realized I could accomplish the same result with a fabric wardrobe closet for $25 and use hangers with binder clips! The key to the whole thing is putting it inside of my veg tent where conditions are optimal!

The rest of the Veg tent is home to an angry bagseed clone from big momma. 5 Space dust and 2 Hawaiian Diamonds.

The flower tent is coming along, 3 Big Momma bagseed clones about 3 weeks from harvest. 2 D'Tacos and another bagseed clone. Then the original D'Tacos in solos letting me know which seed plants were female. The other one in a 1 gal is also in the tent to find out it's sex. She is growing tall and fast and not the best for anyone's garden.

LOL Understood, I, like many are looking to increase that rooting time since I am cloning Uknown sexes of seed to find proper female candidates as keepers.

Man the frost on those colas is amazing! Love the fade on the leaves as well. Veg tent looks happy and green. Carry on!

I sampled a bud, okay fine, I pressed some bud after about 7 days in the dry tent! Came out fantastic! I have wondered what the bagseed is and I have to admit, she does favor Platinum Cookies. Cheers all!

Dances for new beans indeed! And nah that's my mother, she got mad about being in a small pot for so long, she went a bit hungry. Her new growth is fine since up-potting. my fault, she be fine! Thanks growmie.
