Volksball's First Grow: White Widow Feminized Grow Journal 2018

If she needs it ok, I'd raise it a little and see how she responds.

Will do. Thanks. I'll raise it by another half dose maybe? Then go from there. Is it odd that after this whole time, she starts showing now. Nothing from my end has changed.

Hey guys,

Last plant showed a few spots, so everyone has been bumped up a bit on the CalMag. I think I have either slowed it significantly or gotten ahead of it.

A few shots from today's feeding. The fattest ones have swelled to about 1.25" at their fattest. Should they be bigger?

Day 116/41F

Thx

They should always be bigger...that's why we try to do better next time. No, really...who knows! Mine should be bigger but I had environmental battles to face this winter, so I'm planning to do things differently next year. Just keep learning! In the meantime, they look great to me :).
Thanks! Yeah, it's been a great ride. I've learned alot to take with me to the next one.

Hey guys,

Maybe an opinion here. Today I noticed that some of the leaves closest to the lights are getting a bit curled at the edges and some have a couple burnt tips. The plants havent gotten any taller and the environment, for the most part, went unchanged. What changed:

I added another tsp per gallon for all plants as they were showing what looked to be a cal mag issue. They are currently getting 5ml per liter when the bottle calls for 2ml/L. The cal mag issue seems to not have spread very much, but hasn't stopped it completely and shows in just a few places on the plants.

I pulled back on some of the additives (thinking they were getting close to done) and am just using AN Overdrive, base nutes and cal mag. I was thinking to maybe bump things up with additives a bit as I was advised because they will likely flower a couple weeks longer than I thought.

They've just started week 7 from flip. It looks like, and I've read WW might run 11 weeks.

Any ideas?

The humidity dipped last night to about 40%, not too low, but maybe enough to let the uppermost leaves dry out a bit.

Maybe pull back on the nutes a bit? This is the first they've shown they didnt like it. Lockout?

Thanks.

Day 121/46F

I added the last trich pic just because. That was yesterday.

if it's just on top it's more likely to be heat/light than nutes. Nute burn would happen across the plant.
Right. Ok. It just seems weird that it would happen now. Nothing has changed except nutes, so it makes me wonder if whatever she might be getting too much of, might be making her sensitive to heat possibly.

Hey everyone. Been a bit..

There wasn't much to journal in the past week or so. I tried to get some good pics of the trichomes, but wow, is that hard to do with a phone and a loupe. I don't think their quite ready or even too close. The pics aren't as clear as they should be but close. All the trichomes still look glassy with the eye.

Thx.

When you take the pics notice where it says thumbnails full pic select full pic , on my iPhone I can zoom in on the terps!

Hey guys,

I just started my 9th week from flip today and have been noticing a bit of purpling happening on a couple branches on one plant. A bit of crispiness and curling as well. The rest of the plant is seemingly unaffected.
I've read of molybdenum deficiencies or sulphur/phosphorous issues. The plants will likely flower for 2-3 more weeks. I read in some posts from a couple years ago where @Emilya responded that this isnt too much to be worried about if it's not spread - common for late stage flowering?

I'm still feeding with CalMag and bloom nutes. All additives are done have run their course.

I pH my water anywhere between 6.2-6.35 and keep temps around 17c at night and 23.5 during the day. Should I be pH-ing more acidic? Alkaninic?

Or should I be worried? Or is this common so late? Again, much of the plant is fine, but I'd hate for this to destroy my plants so late in the game.

They were watered yesterday and will be again on Monday. They will get nutes for another week, then just pH'd water for two more after that.

Sorry for the yellowish pics, but the purple seems to show through.

Day 132/57F
Thx.

I'm with Penny. I've had a few plants go purple late in flower and many start to eat their fans no matter what you're feeding them, so I wouldn't worry about it.

By the way, in yellow light, all trichomes look amber. Just saying ;).
Hey. I'm not paying it much mind. It's my healthiest plant and shes moving along well.

I was talking about the clarity being glassy and not yet milky. Do I have it wrong?

I'd say they're clouding up but still seeing clear in there. If you can figure out how to get white light pics of the trichomes, that's really how to tell when to harvest. Now's the time to practice that!
Its true. All I have to do it get to them right at lights out or minutes before morning. I'd like to see them naturally too, anyhow.

Hey guys,

I got into the tent about 10 minutes early to get a few shots. As you'll see, the last couple I took were under the amber lights. Two of the three plants were good, and as youll notice, the girl on the right just never grew right. Ha. She complained the whole ride here. She's got some ok buds, but who knows what they'll be like. Not nearly the size of the other two plants. Ah well, alot yet to learn.

I tried my best to use a 40x loupe to get some trichome shots and might have gotten one. You'll notice a couple milky ones, but if you look among the bottom edge, they all seem to still be clear. Some are foggy because I just can't be so still.

I'm not sure how much longer the got, or how long they go from this stage to the next, or even done. I pegged them for a couple more weeks, but I may be guessing too far off? Any thoughts?

Day 133/58F

Thx.
