2nd tallest, possibly male planted approx. 5/20/09

    Upper node

2 youngest unknown sex, planted approx. 6/1/09

Yes, I'm going to wait a little longer to make sure of the males before scrapping them. I went on the web and looked at some mature male plants, just to see what they look like. And I think I need to wait a little while longer for sure.
They all love the rain we've been getting, they're growing so nicely!

The little white hairs on the node are confusing me lol. Ya let it grow out just to be sure.

EDIT: After seeing your new "extreme close up" I'm 100% sure it's a male. Sorry. Excellent pic though good job on that.

    Re: Chump's First

what's nute's? nutrients? sorry I'm a noob. I throw in about a handful of organic blood meal every other week or so. And my partner threw in some PW plant food for flowering plants. I wasn't sure if I should use it, so I told her to hold off until I find out it's okay. What do you think of that stuff?

This whole grow has been really easy! I didn't even germinate the seeds, I just threw 'em in a pot, and added water.

    Re: Chump's First

Hmm looking at the NPK ratings on that I'd say it would be better suited for the vegging cycle. Flowering nutrients will have low nitrogen, high phosphorous and medium potassium ratings. I'm no expert though! Using it in small doses (1/4 - 1/2 strength) wouldn't hurt anything though.

    New pics.

    8/2/09

    LST still looking female

    Looking like a male

    The big male

    Upper node of big male

See ya later! I think I'm going to scrap him today or tomorrow. And I didn't get a good pic of the other 2 sharing a pot. Once I scrap that male, I throw the 2 smaller ones in their own pots.

    Re: Chump's First

If you're short on stash, you can usually get a decent buzz if you dry and smoke the tops and flowers on males.

Some people make cannabutter out of them.

I made BHO (butane honey oil) from my lowryder males and it was OK. Not nearly as good as the BHO I made from the female trim, but it was worth the effort.

That big male is a beautiful plant!

Perhaps it deserves a little respect, lol.

    regards,

    SS
