300W LED Shootout: 12/12 From Seed - Featuring Super Silver Haze

That's to funny!

I'm actually seeing a lot better results from LED growers than HPS growers as of late. Less power usage, running cooler, less watering... LED grows will be the mainstream before long.

I am not here to trash talked LED's but i do have to stand up for both sides on this topic because I like both HID and LED. If you have looked around I believe that LED's will take out HID's at some point but it is a rareity that you see people pulling pound plants off of LED's, this happens a lot off of HID's. I also believe that LED's acctually produce better medicine then HID's, but yield will always be higher off of HID's. I am solely switching to LED's because of three major reasons temp's, electrical cost's and medicine value. I love my HID's expecially because I can pull 9.818 oz. plants but I would rather be smoking LED medication over HID medication solely because I believe that LED's produce better medication. This is my personal opinion were all here to learn and to get props from other growers that might or might not be having the same problems. There will always be people hating on LED's and HID's but the matter is that there is not enough time in life to be arguing on which type of light grows better medication. If people wanted to do that I would say use the sun. My personal opinion is that no one should be hating on anyone else's personal light choice. It's also like that with nutrients in the Great Pacific Northwest you have one side saying that Aurora Innovations is the best then you have the other side saying that AN are the only place to go. But when you choosd same light an3

Wow, I just realized my 20 oz yield was a total failure! I am blaming the alot, he must have been in there munching on the flowers.

If he didn't see it, it must not have happened! :)

Sorry about my post last night I kinda drank a little to much at the bars. Those damn bartenders are always trying to get me drunk. LOL. I mean when I order a derailer and it tastes like a double those bartenders did their job on earning their tips last night. But to get to the point just remember to do research on your lights because I am switching to LED's from HID's because quite frankly LED's do cost less money to run and I would rather have super dank meds over large quantities of just dank meds. I beleive in quilty over quantity. Alot of that has to do with the genetics but the majority in my opinion has to do with three things the grower, the light source, and the food. I can't afford to run hps in an apartment so I can't wait to see what Jozo-sha can do with this one. I am planning on buying two of these quantum pro-bloom 300's so I can have fresh meds every month for myself. I have complete faith in you Jozo-sha to finally turn these LED haters into beleivers. So happy gardening to all and hope that everyone that uses HID's will do some research on LED's before coming into a sponsered test grow and saying use a hps. That is enough ranting and raving by me didn't expect it to be that long. So everyone remember that PAR is for plants and lumens is for the human eye. LOL, happy growing

I sure as hell dont know but please, stop with the jokes... Youre starting to make me feel like a sicko... :)

Does he also have a betamax and laserdisc player? Some people are set in their ways and have a closed mind. The Lite-brite revolution is coming though.

I have 8-track.

Don't worry brother, you will get your plants right. Trust me it has nothing to do with the light, the lights are quality, you all will soon see! :)

Well, sorry to derail the LED/HID light debate, but Jozo, your plants arent looking so well bro. Any idea whats wrong? Lets see you get them girls healthy man!

Those clones look wild!

Not really sure, honestly, I didn't think I'd need nutes with this soil, and thought Cal-mag/molasses would be all I'd need. I hit the clones up with the Dr. Earth's tea I made, and they *loved* it; the SSH, not so much. I had issues with other strains in my last grow, just not looking as healthy, spotting, dying leaves, etc. - but some of the plants were kicking ass and taking names. Same with this one - the SSH have never really done well (on either side), but the UA (Ultimate x Amnesia) are more robust.

I'm disappointed, but am determined to see this through to the bitter end, but to make sure I don't leave myself med-less, I'm probably going to take cuts from the moms up here, root them, and stick 'em in the tent.

If for some reason, I don't pull a harvest, I'm gonna pull my hair right the hell out.

lol, dayum so you think they are deficient? I thought maybe your premix might be too strong. I havent checked out your past grows, youve been using same soil setup without problem? Maybe for just the SSH the premix is too hot.
