Yes, that's what I mean. Full strength right out of the barrel.

A big soak with the citric acid seemed to have worked. I am in the 3rd week of flower and need to berid of it.
Still have some spots though.

They aren't fuzzy anymore, just white. I don't want to deal with this shit during flower budding like last time. My last phase ended up larf.
Phase lV comeing nicely considering that I thought that I may have lost the strain.

Can't wait to start an Indica grow next spring. Will look for "the black" as suggested by a good friend. ;)

Thanks for following! :thanks:

I think that there girls, phase lV of my perpetual are ready to be up-potted into a 3 galon air-pot and on of my DIY SIP's.
I noticed that the on with a gravel base drank the bottom feed twice as fast as the perlite so gravel it will be.

Did a clean-up of the bottom third a few days ago, the most I have ever done but am sure it will make harvesting less tedious. Unfortunately, even after a damn good soaking, as @deltadubie suggested, the PM still comes back

Aggravating as hell!

On a lighter note, guys! Guess who got married last Saturday? After almost 15 years together, we decided to make it official!

I found out that day that my cousin, Deb, who works from home for a big bank, came down with a bout of depression. Cousin Scott to the rescue. Made a glycerin tincture with only 10 grams of trim and some dekydrated strawberries and cherries. The latter took about 36 hours. I put 2 ml under the tongue the next day. Not only did all my trimming, but went into a cleaning frenzy.
IMG_20230219_131639_resized_20230219_011744656.jpg

She has yet to get back to me but I sure as hell wish that I had this when I was depressed just over 20 years ago. So this batch is for me. Instead of doing 3 passes of glycerin I do it twice for a better quality. Pain in the ass keeping it at 185 degrees but the end results are perfect and tasty.
Hope all is well, my friends!
Cheers!

What's in your doil mix? I get a nice thick white "cottony fuzz" on the top of my soil because of the leaf, moldvi have in there. Your's looks more Grey than white though...
Ahhh, I did top them on my last feeding with a bit of worm casting, bokashi and frass.... Just never had the mold afterwards. I removed it in case it made my PM problem even worse.

Thanks

Getting so sick of mold. Bad enough on leavesn not going away.

Now on my 2 newly up-potted, I am getting freakinh mold on my SIP plant .. :(

What do you guys think about the fuzz? The fungus I get is bright white and beneficial, but this looks more grey and angry than mine. Thoughts on whether it is good or bad?

It looks exactly like the myco I get when I add used soil to the top of my worm farm.

Any chance used soil was added in the top dressing.

Or perhaps the bokashi did it?

I haven't played with bokashi yet so I'm only guessing on that one.

I agree this looks beneficial. I had the same appearance in my soil bin after adding EWC to it and mixing it before planting, it also appeared when I prepped the containers before transplant.

PM will grow directly on your plant. It feeds off of the resources inside your leaves.

I don't know. Did Scott add anything to his medium? Myco?

Here's something interesting I just found out about... the beneficial fungus, Trichoderma...

Trichoderma has the ability to "significantly suppress the growth of plant pathogenic microorganisms and regulate the rate of plant growth. Recent works have shown that common plant disease such as root rot disease, damping off, wilt, fruit rot and other plant diseases can be controlled by Trichoderma spp."

Trichoderma is pretty legit imo.. it’s in great white myco and has worked well for me. I’ve not had any pathogen or pest problems yet. I am extremely picky about what’s allowed in my grow though and nothing is allowed in my tent unless it’s been quarantined. I don’t even allow people to go upstairs, let alone walk into my grow.

It looks the same as my coco.
Lots of microbes and beneficial fungi.
I think it's safe. :thumb:

Myco is always in my mix, why?

Thank you.

Just curious if the myco in your mix was doing this...

But my understanding is that myco only grows in association with roots... so if you've got surface roots, I guess this could be the myco.
