1. log on to 420 magazine
2. click "gallery"
3. Click "upload photos"
4. Select one photo on my hard drive to upload
5. click "upload/submit"
6. Nothing happens, it stays on the same screen then "upload/submit" button turns gray and the tap on my firefox just says Connecting

I tryed it before i restarted my computer and it would freeze when i was trying to select a photo to upload. Its probably a problem on my computer

Please clear your cache and relaunch the browser window and try again.

did what you said and it still wont work, i am able to upload on other sites, but it just keeps saying connecting and never does anything

Works fine for me brother, everyone else seems to be okay as well. Try updating your virus protection and clearing cache, temp files and reboot?

i tryed clearing everything, signing off, restarting the computer, reloading fire fox, nothing is working not sure whats wrong on my end, i upload a few pictures on 4/21 but now i cant even upload one picture

We uploaded our pictures using the camera icon. This was during the time that the pictures were embedding as thumbnails. We believe you have fixed that problem, but ours remain as thumbnails. Others have commented about the small picture size. We know that new pictures post as full size, but is there a way to convert the others? It was quite a long pictorial that ChefGreen was nice enough to type out.

think the most obvious repair is to edit post and resubmit the call to gallery, or maybe an admin could do it later as a retro-fix if edit has expired and their workload bottoms out.

Yup, edit has expired. ChefGreen put some good time into that pictorial post, I hate to ask her to do it again- plus we would then have two identical posts, one with large photos and one with small.

We know this fix isnt a priority, but thanks for taking the time to help out. We are both very excited to be back and growing!

First off let me say that you guys are doing a first rate job

This is not a big deal, but I haven't seen anybody ask about it yet, so I thought I would ask.
In the old forum format there was a small spellcheck button and it used the iespell add in.
I noticed that the new ABC check button doesn't work.

- Some of the links up top are white and blend right in with the back round page

- Journal titles are like cut in half, you cant see the whole thing.

well i can upload pictures but i can only do one at a time and i seriously just sat here for over 7 minuets while the ONE picture took to load. something is very strange right now on my end

its working for me now, i upload like 5 or 6 pictures one at a time then it started to upload faster, then i did a bulk upload and it uploaded fairly quick, thanks for stickin with me. Is there any way some one could have been redirecting my uploads to a differnt server or something? like a hacker?

Anything is possible, however without knowing your browsing habits and your computer software, it would be impossible to answer the question, however yes anything like that is possible. Online games and porn can embed viruses and trojans with malicious scripts designed to take over your computer and bandwidth, without a doubt. The smallest thing like sending and receiving hugs or kisses through an app in Facebook, can do it just as fast as downloading pirated software, movies, etc. Even if you think you have the best FREE virus protection, you get what you pay for and anything is possible. Even some of these programs you download, thinking it will check your machine for issues, actually create the issues themselves. It's a crazy world out there online, stay safe and protected everyone!

I have one issue, and its really petty....but...

Is anyone else having trouble reading the Thread topic headings with the brown/green color that is used..?

For some reason it makes my eye's have a hard time focusing on the words because they seem to blend in with the color scheme of the backgrounds and graphics... Maybe its just me? just was curious if there was a way I could change the forum text color format myself? or if this is something other's are having issues with that might need to be addressed.....just my 2cents

Also was curious for future of 420mag....

Is there possibility of video integration where webcam/chat can be used... maybe have sponsors host growing shows? Or Master Gardeners give lessons? or where members can video chat/share stories/and smoke together ? I know that privacy issues may come into play, but thought it might be cool for a future addition that I wanted to share

I also was thinking, would a jobs/employment section be a beneficial addition to add to the forums? Like for instance, say one of our vendors/sponsors was local and wanted to hire someone that was industry based? Wouldn't this be awesome to allow members/sponsors/vendors help each other out? I don't know if this would be allowed because of privacy issues or drawing unwanted traffic, but thought it may be something to consider...

These are more of just future suggestions, and I know you guys/gals at 420 have a ton on your plate. Great job for making our 420 home even more delightful to spend time in!!! we appreciate you!!!
