Icemud's Grow 4.0 - High Brix Focus with Gas Lamp Routine - V-Scrog

Lookin' danky in there Icemud!

You're brave to leave at the end like that, but you gotta do what you gotta do huh?
I think you're choosing the best route. Leaving them to flower an extra week is probably better than having the cure affected.

plants look good...hope you don't get beat up by these storms crusin this area..lying ass groundhog..:cheesygrinsmiley:

Definitely not going to like going from my usual 60-80 degree temps and going to the cold midwest. Its been 6 years since I lived in Chicago and I know my blood has gotten thin...

Hey Everyone, so I decided with my upcomming trip in mind to harvest my rear skywalker OG and will be removing my rear blue dream most likely today. The rear skywalker was having issues uptaking water and seemed to be drying out and the situation was not improving, so rather than chance loosing the fine buds I already have by waiting, I decided that its time to pull her. The blue dream I am still debating on because it seems to be bouncing back so I may wait to see what happens in the next few days. Overall the skywalker Og gave me around 196grams wet weight including stems, so after drying and cure I am guessing that will leave me with around 50-70g because these nugs are super dense and heavy, but time will tell... I did not pull the entire plant and left all the "smalls" on the plant to further mature, swell and gain weight, so estimating another 20-30g on the plant currently. The smell was almost intoxicating and my fingers were covered with resin after harvesting just 1 plant... even though the trichomes are still clear/cloudy with a tiny bit of amber, she will present a pleasant high I believe.

I had a couple of small buds I chopped off by accident when I was trimming, so these I had air drying in my room. Today I packed a bowl of the smalls, still slightly moist but they burned very nicely, the flavor was very very strong, and the high was quite uplifting but also very very strong, even after just 2 days of drying :) I have very high hopes for this one, and the one that is still growing and fattening up, its going to be even better :)

Well Just wanted to post some photo's of the harvest.

will update later with photos of plants in flower, and veg tent.

Thank you to everyone for you amazing support, comments, suggestions and feedback!!! much appreciation to all of you :)

Well today is day 79 of flowering from the flip and things are looking rather amazing. My back blue dream seems to have bounced back and is showing healthy new growth so I decided to leave her for a few more days to harvest. I will be leaving next sunday for 4 days out of town so I am debating if I should pull the blue dreams now, or wait until I get back which would be 1 1/2 more weeks. I did a trichome check and so far the blue dream is mostly cloudy trichomes, the skywalker og is still mostly clear/cloudy, and the pre 98 bubba is still mostly clear with some cloudy. Most likely I am going to wait until I get back to harvest, but we will see. :)

Unfortunately the other day I relalized that my 400w HPS ballast wasn't firing up the bulbs and after trying a few different bulbs I determined that the ballast was bad and needed to be replaced. Lucky for me this happened while I was home :) well I went out and picked up another 400w ballast (new) because It had a 5 year warrenty. I will be having the other one repaired when I get a chance and believe it is just the ignitor that needs to be replaced which is pretty inexpensive for the part, but without electrical knowledge I hesitate to do the repair myself because I know there are dangerout voltages inside ballasts... So I may be seeking someone that can do the repair for me, don't mind paying the fee to be alive and not fry myself :) lol

Overall the grow is going great and very near completion. My skywalker og that I already pulled is smelling amazing, and is already in a jar for about 4 days. The humidity was very very low so it only took 3 days for it to dry out which was much faster than I would have liked but I have to go with what the weather provides me with. She already has a strong og funk smell and looks unbelievable, but I will wait another 2 weeks until she is cured and ready for consumption. :)

Well here are some photos from yesterday.

Full tent views.

Very nice. I think I would wait the 1 1/2 weeks by the sounds of things. Glad you have your ballast issue rectified and good luck on getting it repaired.

Very Very well done ICE.
That Skywalker is going to be amazing!
I had to harvest my OG's about a week early like you.
Clear, mostly cloudy with some ambers showing.
And I was left with some really potent, uplifting buds.
You'll have a nice heavy hitter!, and some clean the house smoke too!
awesome grow..
reps buddy!
