I'm running a 192x 5 also I'm in veg right now with a blue cheese what you think you will yield off your 3x3?

I honestly dont know. It being my first indoor I dont expect great yields but know they are possible with this light. I will be heart broken and disappointed if they dont yield over and oz a plant. Was expecting/hoping for 1 1/2 oz - 2 oz a plant. The way I smoke, I need about about 8 oz to make it to next harvest by my calculations. So I would need 2 oz a plant. But like I said. I dont think I will get that this time. Especially with the trouble Im having with the Lemon Skunks. But Who knows. I still got more than 4 weeks for them to fatten up real good. They are already quite frosty. Just need to fill out.
But as far as your/our light goes, I think it is more than capable of producing 8 - 10 oz or more in a 3x3. Im happy so far with it. Although I do want to add another light one day. But for now I just need to become one with the plant more. Im sure I lost alot of yield struggling with the LS.

Small Update:
I I lowered the light down to about 25inch. No reason really. I prolly should have just left it alone. But we will see what happens. I can always raise it back up if need be.
I didnt see any sign of Nute burn from yesterdays feeding. But I prolly wouldnt see any signs until tomorrow any way. Due to organics taking longer. But Im hopefully all is well and back on track. Only question now is do I feed again Sunday or just plain water?

Do you see any loss further out on the screen? I have the room to do a 4x4 you think the light actually covers that far?

Not sure as mine is a 3.3x3.3 So basically 3x3. But the actual tops of the plants are all on the edges of my tent and seem to be doing fine. But like I said. Mine is 3x3. that other foot may matter. But it claims to cover 4x4. Its why I got it over the Mars2 900

I did some more defoliating. Only on the Money Makers. And they still need to be opened up. But I dont want to take too much but they are really bushy and I prolly could have done a better job at seperating them somehow. I maybe should have cut down on the tops. Took about half of them out earlier on. And just concentrated on 8-10. But live and learn. All I can do now Is just keep trying to get the most out of what I have. So I took the most troublesome leafs that were blocking major bud sites. Here are some pictures. Theres not a big noticeable difference but it was a pile

Good morning and thanx for stopping by my journal earlier. 2 zips per plant is easily obtained with this method. I think you maybe surprised. I got 11 zips of bud off 3 plants on my first indoor SCROG grow and I beat the hell outa them. But I did veg for 2 months and I think that was key. But damn this TrainWreck is going nuts. May be forced to flip early with 4 plants.

Your SCROG looks great man. I see your not afraid to put in the work and thAts what is and will make your harvest successful.

Take all them big leaves it's a weed u ain't goin kill it

Not worries about killing it so much as hurting my yields. Almost all the big leafs you see are at the top of each cola. And I honestly just know know enough about defoliating to go cutting all the leafs off. I know it needs to be done. And I have gotten about 4 of those piles all together. I just dont do it all at once. I have been doing a little here and there. And tucking the rest the best I can. I am going to do some more research. I know I need to expose the bud sites. Its just hard to explain what Im talking about without actually seeing it. Alot of bud sites are just lower buds that most would have cut off in the defo. But by doing the scrog method, ( as Im sure most of you know. but for the ones that dont) by doing the scrog method. It brings all the lower, would be popcorn buds and brings them even to the top. So instead of getting airy, popcorn buds, you get nice thick nuggets. But There are several things going against me.
1st. This is my first scrog and indoor grow...so inexperience
2nd. These money makers are extremely bushy with really close nodes. Might now be the best strain for scrogging. They are suppose to be short and bushy on their own so letting them grow upright with some LST may be a better technique. Maybe a sog. Dont get me wrong Im not complaining. :) I knew most of this before I started. But its also said that the buds may need help with support. So Scrog helps with that anyways.
3rd. My screen is too high. It needs to go down another few inches. I started countering this problem towards the end by fastening the brand toward the center of the plant. So when I tucked, it stayed level to the screen. Whereas before, without tying it first to the screen, when I would tuck the branch, the lower shoots more to the center would just go down too. Forcing the shoot to have to grow upward. IDK its hard to explain but it left alot of long stemmed, shoots, with nothing but a top and a few leafs. IDK Im not explaining it very well I dont think. SO moving on. Point is My screen next time will be much shorter.
4th is I should have done 1 more tucking session before I quit. But I wanted to make sure I have about 6 to 8 inches left above the screen after stretch. And I started having the problems with the Lemon Skunks. And thought stretch was over but it grew another couple inches after that. BUT I had a battle plan and a route I was taking all these colas. And 1 or 2 more tucks, the colas would have been a little more separated. If you notice the bottom right plant (MM2) the lower part has like 8 colas all scrunched up together. It just goes back to the Inexperience. Hopefully next run, If I do a scrog again, I will do a better job.

Anyhow the point of all that rambling is there isnt a whole lot below what you see at the top. The main branches of course will (hopefully) fill out and they have buds below the top. But alot of the middle stuff, the top is it. Ill try to take some pictures of the undercarriage later to show you what I mean. Im just trying to stay positive and hope that I can harvest enough to last me till next harvest. And hopefully it will be delicious. :)

:passitleft: Hey, thanks for dropping in bro. And thanks for the kind words. I have definitely Put in the work. Many Back aching hours spent tucking, studying, trimming. But I have also made a few amateur mistakes. But I guess when It comes down to it, How ever much I end up with, I grew it. I know what it is and what has gone into it. (For the most part) And as said before in the journal, Anything will be better than this ditch press. Plus I enjoy doing it. There is just something about it. Anyway I hope you stick around and hang out.

Big fans tho don't seem to hurt when I Take a lot

yea but see how you left the top leafs on each branch? Thats bascally how mine are. Just bunched together. I still have a few big leafs that arent blocking anything so I left them alone. I will take some pictures. I know your right I just dont really know which to take. Anyway. Im about to go out there now.

I leave em if they like 2" but if they large like 4-5" n they blocking I snatch but also if the leaf stem is green I leave it I only take my red stem leaves n it works but at the height of growth I take like 8-12 a day here let me get close up of veg
